After intensely kissing each other, renewing the hickeys on each other's necks both of the boys sat up and began talking about moving in with each other to pass the time. Both boys sat crossed legged facing each other on Richies bed.
"Ya and we can talk to each other whenever we want." Richie said happily.
"Ya ya and we can stay up late on school nights." Eddie said picking at his socks.
"And if you want we can turn my dads office into your bedroom..since he's not here anymore." Richie said saddening the conversation.
"It's ok Chee, I like sharing a room with you it's fun." Eddie said grabbing Richies hand.
It had been two hours since Eddie and Richie began talking. It was now 1:40 pm.
"Richie! Eddie! It's time to go get Eddies things!" Richies mom said yelling from the living room while grabbing her bag and slipping on her shoes.
"Ok let's go Ed's." Richie said standing up and holding out his hand for Eddie to grab.
"I'm nervous, what if-" Eddie said getting cut off by Richie sitting back down and saying,
"Eddie no what if's, all that matters now is we get to be together and no one can stop us, not my dad, not your mom. No one, now let's go." Richie said reassuringly to Eddie.
"Your right Chee thanks." Eddie said kissing Richie softly on the cheek.
"Am I ever wrong?" Richie said smirking and kissing Eddie back.
"Wait. My moms gonna see your hickeys uh put in my hoodie." Richie said as an excuse just so Eddie would wear his hoodie.
"Ok what about you?" Eddie said blushing.
"I-I only have the one.." Richie said embarrassed."It's ok I'll just wear a long sleeve shirt." Richie said before Eddie offered him back his hoodie.
"Boys! Come on where gonna be late!" Richies mom said from the driveway this time.
"Coming mom!" Richie said slipping on his shirt.
*the car ride there.*
"Guys, it's summer why are you wearing long sleeves and a hoodie?" Richies mom said looking in the review mirror.
"My clothes are dirty and Eddie didn't have another shirt to wear so...I let him borrow my hoodie." Richie said saving there asses.
"Ok but when we get back home your changing." Richies mom said eyeballing Richies neck which wasn't all the way covered revealing a slight hickey.
*They arrived at Eddies house.*
"Ok sweetie do you want me to go with you?" Richies mom said turning around looking at Eddie.
"Ya just um wait outside and I'll tell you guys when to come in...is that ok?" Eddie said trying not to sound rude.
"That's fine honey." Richies mom said putting a hand on Eddies knee.
"Ok ready Eddie spaghetti?" Richie said smiling from remembering saying that at the quarry when they first held hands.
"I would be if you stopped calling me that-" Eddie gets cut off from remembering that moment to when he saw his mom open the front door and step out onto the porch with a boxed marked 'Eddie' on it.
"Ya..ya let's go." Eddie said clearing his throat.
"Hi Mrs.K Eddie wanted us to wait outside while he collects his things." Richies mom said crossing her arms.
"Not gonna help?" Sonia said eyeing Richies mom.
"I'm not the one who kicked out her son because he was gay-" Richies mom gets cut off when Richie lays a hand on her arm whispering "mom." Quietly for only her to hear. Richies mom cleared her throat indicating she was done talking.
"He-hey mom can we talk?" Eddie said shakily.
"You came here to get your stuff that's all. And take off Richies hoodie you look ridiculous." Sonia said looking Eddie and Richie up and down.
"That's it I've had-" Richie started to speak but he managed to shut himself up for Eddies sake.
"Please, mom." Eddie said teary eyed.
"Fine." Sonia said turning around and walking in the house, "but first get your stuff."
Richie, Richies mom, and Eddie gathered his stuff and loaded it in the trunk of Richies moms car.
"We'll be right here, ok Ed's?" Richie said getting in the car and shutting it while rolling down the window half way.
"Ok, I'm gonna do it now, like right now this very moment, but first maybe I should-" Eddie began to say but got cut off when Richie said,
"Eddie go it's ok." Eddie took a deep breath and walked up to Sonias porch. Then walking in and sliding off his shoes just like if he where coming home normally. Except he wasn't, it was one of the last times he was gonna be in that house....for a while at least.
