Under It All || Reddie

Chapter 12; Some birthday, Huh.

*this picks up from the last chapter*

As Richie and Eddie began kissing gasps filling the room,Eddie every once and a while wincing at the scratches and bruises Henry gave him. Richies mom gets a phone call from Sonia about what had happened at the hospital.

Richies mom was walking up the stairs when she herd a slight moan.
"Richie?" Richies mom called out.

"Shit!" Eddie whispered yelled.
"What do we do?!" Eddie said again.

Richie began scrambling to his door to lock it.
Richie put a finger up to his lips indicating to be quite.

"Get under my bed!" Richie also began whisper yelling.
Eddie shot up doing what Richie said, even though there was a half eaten pizza under there he did so anyways. Richie then flicked on the light, scrambled to his bed, pulled out a comic book and got under the covers as if he was there the whole time, but he was only in his underwear and shirt so that's why he did so.

Richies mom rattled the door knob after knocking several times.
"Richie open the door." Richies mom said in a low tone.
"Just a sec mom let me uhh...put away my comic!" Richie replied while standing up and sliding new pj pants on because he couldn't find the ones he had on earlier when Eddie pulled them off.

"Please we need to talk I got a call." Richies mom said in a even lower tone so Richies dad wouldn't hear.
Panic filled the room, it's like somehow Richie and Eddie where the same person. They where thinking the same exact thought.
Shit. It's over.

"O-o-ok mom" Richie said with a shaky voice.
Richie unlocked the door, to see his mom standing there.
"W-what's up?" Richie said breaking there stare by glancing around the room.
Richies mom pushed passed him pulled Richie along with her and she locked the door.

"Listen I know Eddies in here, Sonia called me and told me everything, your lucky it was me who answered and not your dad." Richies mom said whispering because Richies father was only one room over.

"Sweetie...look I'm not mad I think it's great you and Eddie are...whatever you two are doing but it's caused Eddies mom to.." Richies mom trailed off. "Eddie, honey come out from where ever you are." Richies mom said changing the subject.
Eddie then slid out from under the bed scared more then ever and sat down next to Richies mom.

"Caused my mom to do what?" Eddie said shakily.
"She's... offered you one chance to go get your things tomorrow but..she doesn't want you there anymore. I offered for you to stay here if you'd like." Richies mom said with empathy.
"Y-ya that sounds fine." Eddie said with a blank expression on his face.

Eddies POV

My own mom doesn't want..me? Ho-how could she not want me I.. I can't help the way I feel it's just how it is. Ya I hated her but. She really doesn't want me?
"Eddie, honey?" Richies mom said and pulled me into a hug. "I'm fine I just need a minute." I said standing up and headed towards there bathroom, which for some reason still hadn't gotten the locked fixed.
How was Richies mom so excepting towards Richie...towards me? Then my moms acted like a total physco with me, I don't get it. Tears slowly filled my eyes.
No, I'm not crying again today. I wiped away my tears and walked back to Richies room.
"Mrs.Tozier?" I said thankful she wasn't acting the way my mother did.
"How come your so excepting, my mom just yelled at me when I told her."
"Sweetie it's all about your relationship, I know your mother loves you, deeply but sometimes mothers make stupid decisions as well." Richies mom said looking at me and grabbing my arm softly with her cold bare hands.
"I'll leave you two to talk." Richies mom said leaving the room.
Oh my god Richie hasn't said anything like this whole time. That's a first.

End of Eddies POV

"Richie?" Are you okay?" Eddie said looking at Richie who had sat on the bed while he was gone.
"Ya. Ya. Are you? your mom just.." Richie trails off not wanting to make Eddie feel sad.
"Ya I'm fine I guess." Eddie said even though he was basically an orphan about to move in with his boyfriends family.
"I'll go with you tomorrow... to you know. Get your things if you want." Richie said while grabbing Eddies and intertwining there fingers.
"Ya come with me." Eddie said his voice begging to break and tears filling his eyes.
"I'm sorry." Richie whispered into Eddies ear after seeing he was about to cry, that caused Eddie to fall onto Richie, laying on his chest.

"I can't believe she would do that." Eddie said sobbing into Richies warm chest.
"Eddie breath, it's ok, Sonias.." Richie trailed off not wanting to offend Sonia in-front of Eddie, he then grabbed Eddies inhaler and handed it to Eddie putting it up to his lips. Richie knew Eddies mother was lying to Eddie about his sickness but he knew it comforted him in... situations.

"It's ok everything will work itself out. It always does, but for now you can cry till your face hurts I'm not going anywhere Ed's." Richie said while moving to a more comfortable spot on his bed then cuddling up to Eddie who began sobbing trying to hold back his loud cry's but he couldn't help it.

Richie and Eddie began talking and talking till Eddie stopped crying and begun laughing.
"Some birthday huh?" Richie said pulling the covers over them.
The two boys drifted off to sleep in each other's arms.
