Today seemed like a nice day to just go out, the sun shone brightly as the birds chirped. The area seemed to be busy since it was such a great day today.

Keith was bored at his house as he had nothing to do. Nora was in the house with him but she wanted to have her own time with herself, you know.. treating herself - doing her nails and such. Keith stared at his phone before getting an idea before texting Pico.

Pico agreed as he was bored himself also, it seemed that he was going to pick Keith up from his house. Keith sent an 'alright' before getting ready. Grabbing snacks and drinks to bring and use during their trip. He also had time to do his hair and change clothes; mainly wearing some jacket and shorts since it was hot out.

Not a minute later after Keith changed, there was knocking on the door. Keith rushed over and opened it, he smiled as he looked up at Pico smiling back at him. He told him to wait before he kissed Nora goodbye before leaving - telling her that he might come back later tomorrow.. just guys bein dudes.

Nora nodded and waved before Keith left the house with his bag of snacks and such. Pico waited outside as he leaned against his car. Surprisingly, it was a nice car not like some old 2000's car. Keith patted Pico's shoulder before hopping into the passenger seat. Pico went over to the other side of the car getting into the driver's seat before driving off.

They both decided to drive around the state a bit, just to see what it had in store for them. Pico hummed as Keith began talking about how bored he was and how it was Nora's day today, as in she just wants to have time alone with herself today. Pico nodded as he chuckled quietly,

"So this means that today marks 'Our Day' right ?" He said before giving the other a wink. Keith stared at him before giving him a weak punch, "Keep your eyes on the road.." he mumbled. "Hey I'm older than you, I can do whatever.." Pico jokingly said in a low voice (as it his voice wasn't low enough.) as Keith sighed, "By like a year or two ! I'm grown up too.." he pouted as he spoke, Pico chuckling in response.

Keith looked out of the window for a bit, the car engine humming broke the silence between the two. Pico continued to stare at the road before patting Keith's shoulder, the other looking over at him curiously. 

"Yo can you maybe search up any hotels or some place we can stay at like a gas station or sumthin ? it's gettin dark and I'm sure this car's gas will run out in a bit.." Pico mumbled as he pointed at the car gauges. Keith nodded as he looked through the gps on his phone.

Keith hummed in slight worry before sighing, "It says that the next hotel will be in about six to five hours from here.. there is some mall area like a few miles to the left... I heard that you can stay in the parking lot over night.." He mumbled as he went through his phone. Pico nodded, "Imma go with the shopping place rout."

They made it after a few minutes of driving before Pico turned the car off, thankfully it was one of those big cars that has a backseat and a large trunk... for who knows what.. Keith shivered in his seat, sure he was wearing a hoodie but he also wore shorts due to the how hot it was when the sun was out.. now it was freezing cold out.
