Keith began to feel off as he just stared at the floor, Pico gave him a concerning look. "You okay ?" he asked the other as Keith looked up at him and gently hugged him. Pico worryingly hugged him back, "You wanna talk about it ?" he asked the shorter male as he nodded.

Pico wandered over near the backstage as he sat Keith down on one of the chairs there. "What's bothering you ? You were just happy and excited like a second ago.." Pico said to Keith as he rubbed his cheek. Keith leaned his head onto the other's hand as he sighed quietly.

"Uhm.. when I was younger... me and Miku had to live with our parents right ? So like.. my parents didn't like the fact that she wanted to be a pop star when she grows up - same went for me.. I wanted to be a singer when I was younger haha.." Keith paused as Pico nodded at him, showing the other that he was still listening.

Keith sighed heavily as he slightly looked to the side.
"So..when our parents found out about us wanting to have such 'childish' dream jobs, they.. would beat us up because of it... Just to give us some lesson that jobs aren't meant for joking around with." Keith paused again as he quietly sniffled, Pico had this very worried look on his face as the other continued..

"Whenever me and Miku came back home from school.. we were... sscared of our own parents.. they always seem nice in front of others but to us... they were assholes you know.. ? I just.. I can't believe they left us out alone too... Sometimes.. they'd lock me and Miku out of the house if we got home late.. even if we got home a minute or so late, my parents would ignore us til midnight or when they go to sleep.." Keith began to mumble as tears flowed down his cheeks. 

He had memories flooding back to him as he told his boyfriend about his past, he knew he should stop but he continued either way.

"When I finally turned 16 to 17, I just left to house... based on what Miku is doing now as her job, she probably left too though she parted ways with me.. Yeah we saw each other at times but never got the chance to hang out for over 10 minutes... I missed her sso much..." Keith whimpered as he slightly covered his own eyes, more tears fell. Pico couldn't help himself but hug the other tightly.

"If I ever meet your parents.. I'm gonna beat em up for you... I don't care if they got nicer." Pico mumbled as Keith slightly nodded as he quietly sobbed on his shoulder. Pico rubbed his back soothingly as he felt the other shaking.

Pico honestly felt really bad, going through that because of your dream job isn't right..

They stayed hugging for a bit as Keith slowly calmed down, his shaking coming to a stop as he sniffled quietly. Pico continued to rub his back, he also gave the other gentle kisses on his head and cheeks.

Keith nuzzled up against the other's chest for comfort as Pico leaned his back against the wall, having the other lay on him slightly. Keith wiped his tears once again, his eyes were slightly pink as he just stopped crying. Pico brushed the other's hair gently as he hummed to him.

Keith's bad thoughts soon faded away now that things are actually better..
He got to see his sister, most importantly battle her too in front of millions..
He has Pico by his side, comforting him calmly..
He also had Hank - but he's a body guard so what gives ?

A few minutes have passed before Miku showed up once again, she had a microphone in hand, she spotted the two just hugging each other as she wandered over to them.

"Hey guys ! My show is about to start, so get ready for our little battle Keith !" She told her brother with a wink and a smile. Keith hummed and nodded, "Alright then.. you'll announce me up right ?" he asked as she nodded. "Mhm, I'll mention you then you go up on the stage - you'll know when we will start singing once I signal to my dj." she said with a smile as Keith nodded.

Miku checked her phone as she smiled, "Ahh ! It's gonna start in about a minute ! You guys should stay backstage for whenever I call Keith up so he can come quickly." she said as Pico nodded, slowly sitting up as Keith got off of him.

The two followed Miku backstage where a whole ton of voices can be heard behind the curtains, it was Miku's fans..

Keith suddenly began to sweat, "Mman.. I never knew you had many fans -" he slightly stuttered as his younger sister laughed, "Stage fright ? Don't worry, I did say we're battling with one song !" she patted Keith's hair. "Also, I like the pink that's going on with you" she winked at him before laughing, Keith laughed nervously.

Sure Keith was very excited to battle her sister in front of millions.. and.... millions.. of people...
'Why is my sister so famouss...' Keith thought to himself as he ruffled his hair in frustration.

He knew he was probably going to stutter in their battle as he found himself shaking, "You okay ?" Pico asked him as Keith nodded. "Yyeah.. kinda scared - you know.. about singing in front of... a lot of people.. I'm more used to small crowds-" Keith mumbled as Pico chuckled, "I'm sure everyone will be cheering you and your sister on, both of y'all's voices sound great so there's no need to be scared about anything really - your sis has your back.." he said as he gave Keith a kiss on the cheek.

Keith lightly blushed as he nodded, "Yeah.."
Suddenly, upbeat music could be heard as Miku greeted what they both assumed to be her fans. She sounded happy and excited before she began singing.
Keith smiled to himself, "I think I'll be okay now.." he said as he sighed, lightly smacking his face as he did. "Okay - I got this !" he said to himself. "Yeah, you got this !" Pico cheered him on quietly, making Keith laugh.

Keith took off his hat as he fixed his hair a bit before putting it back on. He felt excited and scared at the same time, like he's going to sing against his sister in front of millions of people. He felt himself shake a bit as Miku finished her first song; continuing on with her second... one more song before he battles her..
