Pico was over at Keith's house as they decided to have a little sleepover. Nora left the house to go to her parent's since she didn't want to mess up the boy's night as buds.

Since it was basically snowing out, Keith had made him and Pico some hot cocoa just because he was thirsty yet hungry so why not hot cocoa with marshmallows ?

Pico didn't like sweet stuff as he was a fan of bitter and spicy things, though he only ate the sweet stuff that Keith makes.. only what Keith makes.

They both were sitting on the couch, snuggling up with each other due to the cold and the lack of a heater, as they watched a movie.

The house was quiet, the only noise breaking the silence was the television and the soft chews Keith made while eating his marshmallows.

Pico only sipped on his warm drink a few times before he began to space out. 'This tastes.. good...' he thought to himself as his face slightly turned red, 'Man, it's always him..' He began to question why he usually hates everyone and what they do other than Keith and what he does. It's almost as if Pico enjoyed what Keith does/make for him.

Pico looked to the side.. ''m not gay or anythin.. right ? I like women.' Pico thought out lies as he tried to convince himself that he didn't like the other ever since they met. They were always seen as some couple and people told them that.

The way they hang out together, how they interact, how one gives many hugs to the other, how protective one is to the other... Pico sighed, grabbing Keith's attention as he turned his head to him.

"You okay, dude ?" Keith asked Pico as he paused the movie. Pico nodded, "I.. just have a lot in mind..." he mumbled. Keith hummed before turning the television off. He squirmed out of their little snuggle fest before sitting upright beside him, looking at him.

"You can tell me what's bothering you bro.." Keith said as he gave him a slightly worried look. Pico looked to the side, 'why is he so interested in wanting to help me ??' he thought to himself before sighing once more.

"So..uh...." Pico started, Keith hummed as he nodded.
"..is it.... okay to... like your homies ?" Pico asked as he stared at Keith. Keith's face slightly flushed as he looked to the side, "Ddepending on whom.." he stuttered. "I-I mean like.. it's okay just.. how much do you like em ?.." He asked the other as he fiddled with his fingers nervously.

Pico blinked as he cleared his throat, "Well.. I uh... I know that he.. has a girlfriend.. so I'm gonna assume he's...." he paused, "..straight." He mumbled as he looked to the side, his face red. He just came out to his best friend..

Keith's face turned pinker, "A-ah well.. you ddunno that -" Keith ruffled his bright hair as he spoke. Pico sighed, "Yeah, yeah, I know I just don't wanna look weird.. I think... I like him." he mumbled as he quietly took a sip of Keith's hot cocoa.. basically giving the other a tiny hint.

Keith began to think, 'is he reffering to me ? I mean.. not gonna like.. he is really cool and ho..' Keith shook his head, 'nno .. I have a girlfriend.. but she doesn't do anything with me other than... him.' He looked over at Pico who was sipping his drink, minding his own business; Keith's face flushed, 'I think I.. like him back... unless he's talking about someone else...' Keith suddenly grew angry thinking about Pico liking someone else other than him.

'What.. why..... I like him. I like my best friend.'

Pico just stared at Keith just having a jumble of emotions and expressions, he snapped his fingers at him. "You okay ?" Keith blinked as he looked up at the other, majorly blushing..
'not to mention our little nights together...' Keith thought to himself as he sighed.

"Pico..." Keith stared at him, his face completely red. Pico gave him a confused look as he nodded, "Yeah ?"

"Am I.. considered as... your homie ?" Keith asked as Pico blushed lightly.
'bingo -'

Pico didn't say a word other than just looking to the side, Keith just stared at him before he hovered his hand towards the other, "Pic - ?"
Keith was interrupted by Pico grabbing his hand, pulling Keith towards him before giving him a fat smooch.
on the lips.

They parted before Pico sighed, "Had to .." he mumbled, Keith shook his head, "It's okay I.. don't mind.." He shook his head he gave the other a goofy smile.
Pico looked to the side, "I.. want you to... leave... her." he said as Keith flinched.

"W.. why - ?" Keith asked, Pico shook his head. "I barely see yall together or even interact as much as yall used to." What Pico said was indeed true. Keith and Nora haven't done anything in months only a peck on the cheek on some days and that's it. Yeah they held hands but it's been months since they did so.

Keith looked down, he realized that his best friend was basically better than his girlfriend. Seeing how he cared for him more, always there for him, just.. the right amount of affection. Keith sighed before looking up at Pico.

"So.. ?" Pico asked as he waited for Keith's answer.
Keith sat there before grabbing onto his sweater, pulling Pico down a bit. Their lips met as Keith kissed Pico for payback.

Pico's face flushed before he could say anything - Keith talked over him. "Sure.. She wasn't right for me anyway." Keith said confidentially even though he knew he was going to feel guilt for maybe making a girl cry.

Pico grinned as he hugged the other. "Does this mean we're official ?" Pico asked as Keith smiled, "Nope, not yet.. I gotta... tell Nora about it." Keith said as he looked at his phone.

Keith changed his bank's password before he called her..
Pico sat nearby to listen to their conversation...
