Rilee's POV

We've finally arrived at the elve's House, and it was a lot worse than I had imagined. The whole village had been destroyed except for the House. As we neared the House, I started to think the worst- the elves wouldn't all fit into that House. How many had died?

Landon opened the door and every square inch was elf, pushing forwards to greet their king. I was a little overwhelmed, and so were Will and Sean, until we reached an opening. Landon asked where everyone else was, and I thought my worst fears were coming true until an elf replied.

"Your Majesty, we've also piled into the dungeons and escape tunnels."

"Thank God, but do not call me 'Your Majesty', for a true king would not have abandoned his people to escape a fire. I almost let this whole village burn down with all of you all."

Landon told the elves of the plan, and then called up 2 elves- Cole and Valin. I thought we were going to stay a while, for the night even, but we headed back to the path and started walking again.

Landon's POV

I was glad the elves were doing okay. Honestly, I'd been a little worried for a moment there when all I saw was that one group. I had wanted to stay, but time was of the essence, and we needed to get to Brooks before the witch did unspeakable things to him... poor mortal. I know he can be... difficult sometimes but no one shall deserve that old hag as their only company. That, and along with the other Lords- Jamie, Billy, Helen, Kayla, all the rest. They were all stuck up and their time was done.

Brooks' POV

As the figure chuckled, I continued to shiver until it finally spoke.

"Welcome Brooks, we've been expecting you for a while now. I'm sure we need no introduction since we had a little talk in that dream of yours, but I am you Queen, Queen Courtney. You will bow down to me this instant."

I gulped, but I refused to bow down. No matter how much she puts me through, I'll never be this low to bow down to her. She broke my fingers already!

"Well... If you won't bow down to me, I'll make you."

She flicked her fingers, and pointed at me. I started feeling the urge to bend down, until my body acted without my brain. I bowed down as she chuckled again- I'd never get used to that. I stood up again.

"Now, let me introduce you to my other... helpers. To my right, is the head of my Assassin group, Lord Billy. To my left- Lord Helen, my best sorceress... well not better than me-" she chuckled again.

"-Then there's Captain Sam, commander of my foot soldiers. Then, General Dainon, commander of the Calvary, and then Lady Kayla, my witch. She makes the potions and scrolls. And of course, Lord Jamie, but I see you have already met him," the Queen smiled.

I have to admit, the Queen was pretty, but had an aura of Darkness surrounding her. If I had to compare her to anything, I'd compare her to the evil stepsisters from Cinderella. She was pretty but ugly at the same time.
