Athena sipped her cup of coffee as she read from Roc Cameron's journal. Roc Cameron was an Assassin and was also a spy for the crown. When he discovered that there were Assassins among the pirates, he aided them in any way he could, hell he even helped Annie Bonnie and Edward Kenway get full pardons. Athena set the coffee back onto the desk as she paused in her reading. 4: 35 AM. She sighed she had done it again, she got caught up in the journal she didn't go to bed when she had hoped...well at least she would be awake for when Ezio returned from his mission that Fury had sent him on. Though Ezio wouldn't be happy that she pulled an all-nighter again. Athena sighed taking the worn ribbon marker and slid it into the section that she had been reading. She closed the worn leather book and stood up from her chair and left the hidden library. As she made her way out of the secret room and closed it behind her Ezio entered the study. His eyes softened when he saw her through his face had a stern expression "And what are you still doing up?" he asked

"Lost track of time," she replied.

It wasn't a lie, when she read into her family history it always swept her away. Athena was a firm believer that History came from those who left their hidden marks in the world, and that it was through their journals did history really reveal itself. The problems of today's world wouldn't happen if people actually looked to those in the past famous or not, then maybe many problems could be avoided. Ezio sighed and walked over to her "You look dead on your feet darling, I guess me getting home early was a good thing." he said.

Athena nodded as Ezio pulled her into his arms "I missed you, my love," he said softly into her hair

"I missed you as well," she said, "Tomorrow I will show everyone the secret study."

Ezio nodded and led her to their bedroom. As soon as Athena's head hit the pillow she was asleep.

Ezio had just come out of the shower to find Athena passed out on the bed. He hated seeing her like this, but with HYDRA still out there...well...who could blame her. She weighted her shoulders a heavy one at that. She had to use the Grand Masters of both orders from the past to unite both orders in the future to keep HYDRA from wiping them out. He padded over to the bed the pale light of the full moon lighting up his skin as he drew back the covers and laid down beside her. Ezio looked at the name on his wrist Ratonhnhaké:ton the name of their third "Ratonhnhaké: ton, Athena, she is overthinking again, she has a right to do so, but is she doing too much? Am I doing too little?" he asked softly while brushing his fingers over the mark

"You know Ezio, but I can feel your worry for her." a voice said.

Ezio looked at the figure before him. It was their third, he wore Assassin's robes white, with blue trim, the beadwork of his people hugged around the sleeve covered biceps. Ezio was impressed at how much mass their third had "Ezio?" Connor asked.

Ezio snapped out of his stooper "Sorry, just tired. Athena she is overworking herself trying to figure out where and when the next enemy will hit, and who will be our allies." he said

Connor tilted his head a bit "I can feel your worry, it's an echo that spans through time, it's a weak echo, but it is there. I worry for her as well, as well as you Ezio," Connor said.

Ezio sighed "Athena thought as much. Athena was fine for a while, then after a month or so she began combing her ancestor's journals."

"Which one?" Connor asked

"Roc Cameron, apparently he was an Assassin, but sent by the crown to spy on the pirates during the early 1700s," Ezio replied.

Connor nodded "I know his grandson Eric," Connor began, "He knows Athena from the soulmate's dream, he was shocked to discover that she is his descendent, and knows his grandfather spoke of her often."
