I come out of my cocoon Lilia made for me with blankets and pillows when I hear yelling outside.
I get up and look out the window when I see my mom, carrying a bag of groceries, yelling at the guard outside my door.
I open the door. "What's going on?" I ask.
"This lady is trying to get in to 'her house'". One of the guards says. He's tall, and muscular. Very, very, muscular.
"I'm sorry, but I don't see the problem here. That 'lady' is my mother. Now let her in."
I get more and more agitated as the guard states reasons why my own mother can't come in to the house. Right when I'm about to burst into an explosion of anger and sadness, Lilia saves the day.
"Excuse me, may I talk to you in private for a second?" She kindly asks the guard. The tall one leaves, and the other guard stays. He is short and plump. He almost looks like one of Snow White's dwarves after thanksgiving, considering he has a long white beard too.
Lilia comes back, and the guards discuss something for a moment. My mother gets a pass and is let inside.
I close the door, lock it, and out flows a tsunami of tears and feelings.
I won't go into details, but let's just say there was lots of tissues and ice cream involved. My mom called a counselor and scheduled her to come all week starting tomorrow.
Time somehow sped up, and before I knew it, Lilia had to go home for dinner. Considering I had eaten triple my weight in ice cream, I decided to skip dinner and head straight to bed.
I didn't fall asleep for four hours, but I finally managed it.
I had a dream, that I was running. In a field, far away. I looked behind me in the dream and saw an angry mob chasing me, growling and gnashing their teeth. My stalker and Elisa Wolopp were leading the mob.
