rushing through the hallway you couldn't help but to think about what could have made him want to go with you

'if it wasn't kuina then what was it? surely there's no way he would genuinely want to go with me' you think to yourself as you wander down the secluded hallways on your journey to find chishiya

"i've been up and down these same damn hallways for the past ten minutes" you sigh in frustration

"fuck it i'm just going to his room, he must be there" you say to yourself

you now find yourself walking to the certain blond mans room, curious to ask him why he chose to go with you, and if he didn't choose to, what made him

"this is his room, right?" you question

"guess i'll find out" you answer your own question and knock on the door

it's been about twenty seconds and still no answer, so you decide to give it one more knock before you head back to your own room

you lift your hand up in a fist ready to knock on the wooden and slightly chipped door but before your skin could make contact with it a voice chirps up from the side of you

"are you in need of something?" the person asks

you slowly turn your head to look at the person talking to you, but you already recognized who it was  by the sound of his sly and laid back voice

"chishiya" you fully face his direction and give him a small and sort of awkward grin, to which he responds with a cocky but yet confused head tilt

"hm?" he opens the door to his room and walks in

"well i just had a question abou-" he cuts you off

"don't just stand out there you look stupid" he motions you inside his room

"right, sorry" you walk into his room and wait for him to lead you somewhere else to sit down at

"follow me" he leads you to a small area with a couple of chairs "go ahead and sit" he points to the chair furthest to the left as he sits in the one that's furthest to the right. the complete opposite side as you

"well as i was saying i have a question abou-" he cuts you off again, causing you to let out an audible and frustrated groan

"wait, is this a stupid question? don't even bother if you're just gonna waste my time" he states

"well i don't think it's stupid but we won't know if you think it's stupid until i ask, right?"

"okay, carry on" he leans back into his chair

"why?" you ask

"why what?" he raises his eyebrows in question

"why did you decide to go to the game with me?" you give him an analyzing and slightly judgmental stare

"i already told you kuina begged me to go, it was quite annoying having to listen to her voice screech about it over and over, the only way she would stop is if i agreed to go with you" he explains to you

"you're a liar" you smirk, earning a 'confused' face from chishiya

"and how's that?" he asks

"after i woke up from returning from the games i immediately ran out of arisu's room to find you and kuina to thank you two for saving me, but i found kuina alone" you pause for a moment to analyze his behavior "and so i thanked her, but that left her confused chishiya, very confused. so i explained to her what you told me about her 'begging you' to go with me but she said she didn't do that" you tilt your head in victory after seeing his distraught face

he stands up and looks at you "she's lying"

"no no i think you're the liar chishiya, so why don't you just admit it" you stand up and walk closer to him

"i am not a liar. if i could have chosen to either go with you to the games or stay here, i would have chosen to stay here" he states with his regular cocky yet monotone voice

"so then why didn't you?" you grin

"why didn't i what?" he asks

"stay here. why didn't you stay here? nobody forced or begged you to go with me chishiya, me and you both know that"

"you're just an idiot who doesn't know what she's talking about" "i've already told you i had no intention of going with you to that stupid game but kuina begged me to go, so why are you still here asking the same question over and over again?"

"fine. you're right." you walk towards the door and open it

"but if i ever find out that you lied to me, you bet your ass i'll be back with more questions" you joke and exit his room, shutting the door behind you

"liar liar" you whisper to yourself with a smirk as you walk back to your own room
