"y/n. you like her, don't you?" kuina looks at chishiya as she awaits his answer

"i do not" he denies

"you do"

"you d-" kuina starts but is quickly cut off by an annoyed chishiya "stop, i said i don't like her" he rolles his eyes and shoves his hands in his pockets

"you really are a liar" she smirks and lights a cigarette, quickly taking a puff "but i guess it's a good thing you don't like her, cause it seems she already has enough people trying to get with her" kuina points over to where you're standing by the pool, currently surrounded by a group of four guys

chishiya unknowingly tenses up at the sight of everyone around you

"you wouldn't want to go help her, would you?" kuina looks at chishiya as she teases him

"it seems as though her babysitter is already taking care of it" chishiya nods his head back in your direction where arisu has you by the hips and is leading you away from the group of idiots who wouldn't take 'no' as an answer

"prince charming is gonna steal your girl if you keep denying your feelings" kuina gives chishiya a fake pout as she takes another drag of her cigarette

"she's not my girl and i don't like her" he sighs

"then why did you go with her to the game and then proceed to lie to her about the reason you went with?" kuina asks

he stares off for a moment before responding
"i don't know"

"it's because you wanted to keep her safe.. you didn't want her to be alone or get hurt. fucking hell chishiya you risked your own life by jumping back in to save her, why else would you do that?"

"how do you know about that?" he asks

"y/n. she told me when she found me in the hallway" she tells him

"ah" was the only response she got back from him before he walked away

"so have you told her yet?" kuina leans against the wall next to chishiya

"tell who what?" he asks with a hint of confusion

"aren't you supposed to be smart?" kuina laughs "obviously i'm talking about y/n, have you told her about your feelings yet?"

"no i haven't" he looks over to kuina and waits for her to figure out what he just said

"you sneaky prick" she laughs "i knew it all from the start, but when are you gonna tell her?"

"i'm not" he says

"wait what? why not?"

"you don't seem to understand" he looks down to the ground and then back to kuina "even if i wanted to tell her about my feelings, which i don't, i couldn't. there is no room for love in this world. i've said it before and i'll say it again, it's a waste of time and will only get in the way"

"you're so smart yet so dumb" kuina scoffs in disbelief as she walks away from him
