"chishiya we've standing up here for five minutes already we have to go look around" you say

"do what you want but i'm staying here" he tells you

"fine" you walk away from him and start looking for the safe room in hopes you find karube and arisu along the way

"if i were karube where would i be?" you say to yourself while looking for your two friends

"knowing him he's probably fighting the tagger" you laugh to yourself

"now where would arisu be?"

'he's not much of a fighter so he's probably actually around looking for the safe room' you think to yourself

your thoughts are interrupted when gunshots start sounding through the building

"oh fuck" you say out loud

'is that coming from above or below me?' you think

you had just left the seventh floor and you're now on the sixth, there is no way it's coming from above you

you immediately start running down the hallway to get back on the seventh floor when the tagger meets your gaze

'i'm fucked'

the tagger raises their gun and starts shooting, missing you every time and giving you time to run while they reload

your thoughts start races as you figure out where to go

'it's a dead end that way and the tagger is blocking that part of the hallway..'

'i have no choice but to jump and start climbing'

the tagger has just reloaded the gun and is aiming it at you once again

chishiya's pov

"hm? this is interesting" he leans forward with his hands holding his face up

"where or where is she gonna go? i bet she's wishing she had stayed up here all safe and sound" he slightly laughs

back to normal pov

"it's now or never" you jump onto the ledge of the apartment, and with a leap of faith you pull yourself up to the seventh level

you're safe for now

you walk back to your original spot and you're met with a familiar form wearing a white hoodie

"ah looks like you survived after all" he says

"so you watched that entire scene play out and didn't even try to help?" you ask

"i had no reason to" he shrugs

"you really are a prick, you know that?"

"so i've been told" he smirks

"holy fuck!" you scream as you watch two girls get shot by the tagger

you look over at chishiya who doesn't seem to be affected by it

"you don't even seem phased in the slightest" you say

"it's not the first time i've watched someone die"

you were about to say something when the voice of your friend was heard from below you

"hey everyone! the tagger is currently at the second level of the central area! the tagger has a bad vision because of his mask! let's all inform each other of the taggers location and search for the safe zone together!" you hear arisu scream to everyone

"arisu" you whisper

"it's a good idea, but no one sill respond" chishiya says

"you don't know that" you tell him

and your point was proved when another voice yelled out, "the tagger is moving from the fourth level of the central area! anyone nearby, run!"

"oh?" you hear chishiya say to himself

"ha, i told you" you say, sounding quite childish

"anyways, did you find anything hints as to where the safe zone would be while you were down there?" he asks

"no" you sigh

"oh they're shooting again!" you point to where the shots are coming from

'why from such a long distance?' you question to yourself

you slowly turn your head to chishiya only to see he's already looking at you

"i see you've figured it out too, y/n"

"mhm" you take your phone out

"there's only six minutes left" you tell him

"well then, shall we begin?" he asks

"yeah.. i mean there's no point in staying up here now that we both know where the safe zone is" you say
