《5》 Werewolves

Clayton's POV :

Before I could get answers on serene and her wolf , Alpha Jackson takes us to his office where it's more private. When we get there he phones his brother , the previous Alpha.
"So you saying my daughter found her mate and he says that she does have her wolf "
So all this time they didn't know
"Why would you'll think she had no wolf "
"Well dear boy at the age of 12 when cubs normally have their first turn serene stayed human , we thought it was because we moved her away when she was a baby"
So she lived her whole life like a normal human being.
"So Mr.WhiteThorn why did you move her away ?"
The room grew silent and I could see Alpha Jackson and Luna Marie tense up . After a few minutes Mr.WhiteThorn (Jacob) finally talks
"Serene was kidnapped as a baby by Vampires , she was taken from us for a week till we found them . It's because of that fight I got injured and stepped down as Alpha . We left with serene because we didn't know what they did to her or if they would take her away again so leaving seemed like a safer option"
"Why didn't you tell her about werewolves ?"
"Well after we found out about her not turning we decided that it's best she didn't know about that part of our lives , she seemed happier not knowing but maybe we should have "
To not know apart of yourself that you might feel is missing seems almost terrible.
"Well Mr.WhiteThorn I think her not been in contact with her wolf definetly has something to do with those vamps that kidnapped her and I'm sure I can reach her wolf and find out the truth but first you have to tell her everything "
His stayed silent for a while then reluctantly he agreed and asked Alpha Jackson to explain everything to Serene . All I hope for now is that she understands us and doesn't freak out.

Serene's POV :

Wow who knew a bonfire would be so tiring , one would think it's relaxing but I guess spending the whole night talking and getting to know everyone can be exhausting not to mention the amount of food I've eaten . I spoke to everyone tonight except that guy with the grey eyes and yes that voice , did I even hear her ?
"Serene can we talk to you for a minute."
Uncle Jack called out and next to him stood Aunt Marie and she seemed tense and nervous which in turn made me feel nervous . As I reached them I tried to stifle a yawn but failed miserably.  Aunt Marie caught that and just smiled at me before turning towards uncle jack
"Maybe we can speak to her tomorrow dear"
I was about to tell them it's okay but I remembered how tired I was
"Alright , you head to bed serene we shall talk tomorrow "
With that we bid our goodnights and as soon as I got to my room I dropped on my bed like a corpse.

When I woke up the next day I realised it's already about 1pm and oddly no one woke me up . I take a shower and get dressed and head down to eat breakfast well lunch actually . When I get to the kitchen I see Rose there already with a PB&J .
"Hey serene , I see you woke up late as well huh "
Well now I know it's normal for them to wake up this late
"We really are two peas in a pod "
She just grins at me . After eating , Rose takes me up to Uncle jack's office because they need to speak to me and again I'm nervous. When we get there Rose gives me a thumps up then leaves . I hear people talking inside so I knock once then hear silence until
"Come in Serene"
How did uncle Jack know it's me , right he did call me . I'm such an idiot sometimes . When I walk in I see that it's not only just My uncle and aunt but that guy from yesterday the grey eyes one , I feel something stir inside my head then .
"Serene I want you to meet clayton he is Bryan and Josette's son"
So his name is clayton that's cute , wow where did that come from . I look at him again and smile
"Hi it's nice to meet you "
I put my hand out to shake his because I'm weird like that and when he shakes it back I feel a shock go up my arm , well that's different .
"So Uncle Jack what did you want to talk about "
"You might want to sit down dear"
So I do and clayton takes a seat next to me and oddly enough I feel the heat from where his arm is almost touching mine .
"How I do start this off...?"
He seems to be thinking hard about something then like a switch
"Ahh yes okayy , do you remember stories your dad used to tell you  from when you were small ?"
"Yes I do , sometimes he still reads to me . Of course I can actually understand him better now"
My uncle looks reluctant to say more but after Aunt Marie pats his shoulder he takes a breath and speaks again
"Everything he told you was more than a story and a myth , It's all true "
I look at him stunned for a second then give him the only reply I could
"So it is true , supernatural beings are real"
My aunt and uncle both have shocked faces and I turn towards clayton and see that his just smiling at me .
