always ━━ hiccup haddock (on hold)

TODAY THEY were against a nadder.

a maze was made for them to hide and run around, as the dragon perched itself on top of all the shelves and ran along them. gobber was once again giving out advice about how the dragon made it's kill and how we could outsmart it.

"-and your job is to be lighter and quicker!" he yelled out.

they were all running from the dragon, when hiccup stopped in front of gobber and asked him the most ridiculous question. 

"how would one sneak up on a night fury?" he shrugged as he asked. gobber held his forehead and answered.

"no ones ever met one and lived to tell the tale. now get in there!" he shouted.

"hiccup" sif whisper shouted as her and astrid glared at him and shielded themselves. "get down!" she whispered, motioning with her shield. 

the nadder growled and sniffed the area around it, trying to locate us, I peeped at it and started taking deep breaths, planning to attack it. we rolled on our shields as it wasn't looking, but hiccup wouldn't do it. the nadder saw him, growled and attacked as he tried to run away. 

astrid and snotlout had stopped, but I knew that if I stopped with them then we would be attacked so I moved on, watching snotlout fail in trying to save astrid and he gave some lame excuse. the nadder roared and followed after them, snotlout splitting away from astrid. but the dragon followed d after astrid who now caught up with me.

its large wings knocked down all the shelves one by one as it chased us, creating chaos. along with astrid, we were both hopping from shelf to shelf as we tried to get away from it. astrid fell on hiccup, but I avoided him and hit the nadder in the face with my axe. it shook it's head and walked away. 

"well done sif. once again" gobber complimented. 

"is this some sort of a joke to you? our parents war is about to become ours. figure out which side you're on" astrid pointed her weapon in his face. i walked up behind her and lowered her arm.

"astrid" i said softly "go easy on him" i advised. I gave hiccup a small smile and walked the other way.

later that evening, we were all sitting on one of the watch towers with a bonfire as gobber told us stories. 

"I swear I'm so angry right now. I'll avenge your beautiful hand and your beautiful foot" snotlout promised and I giggled at that. 

"it's the wings and tail you really want. if it cant fly, it cant get away" gobber explained and I listened carefully. maybe this would someday come in help but hopefully not. it seemed very morbid. gobber yawned and stood up. 

"all right, I'm off to bed. you should be too" he pointed to us with his food. "tomorrow we get to the big boys. slowly but surely, making our way up to the monstrous nightmare" 

all of us seemed excited to fight the dragons. all of us, except for hiccup.

i was the first one to stand up and I noticed that hiccup had already managed to sneak away. "night guys" i said and left the tower.
