always ━━ hiccup haddock (on hold)

LAST NIGHT, it was weird. hiccup wasn't as slick as he usually is when he slips away from stuff like last night, but he managed to getaway. and what was weird, was that he seemed to be hiding something, and sif really wanted to know what it was. she noticed that he did it a lot. quietly slipping away from things, and asking weird questions about night furies. 

today, was another challenger, a harder one you could say. 

we were all given buckets of water, and our challenge was to make sure that we don't let the zippleback set us on fire and eat our burned bodies.

with a determined look on my face, I looked around, trying to find the head which lit the gas surrounding us on fire. it was hard to see anything, as the hideous green gas completely surrounded us. I stood with astrid and ruffnut. us girls stuck together, while the boys stayed two-and-two. 

snotlout and tuffnut thought that ruffnut was the dragon, so they wasted their water by throwing it on her. astrid punched snotlout in the face and ruffnut pushed tuffnut, but I kept a lookout for the dragon, and just then, tuffnut was pulled into the smoke. and I gasped as he disappeared. 

we were all preoccupied, as hiccup, mysteriously backed up the dragons into their cage and I watched with wide eyes. 

"ok, so are we done..." he awkwardly asked, swinging his arms "because there's some things I need to get done" he said and ran away. I watched his retreating figure with squinted eyes.

something was definitely going on, and I was going to find out.

it happened again, and again, and again. over the course of the next few weeks hiccup kept. using weird things to stop the dragons, and suddenly people started coming to watch everything that went on. the others were quick to ask him how he managed to do all that, but I knew better. he would just lie. 

once during training, we were against a nadder again, and as I lifted my axe to hit it, hiccup had somehow managed to make it go to sleep. 

hiccup slowly became the most famous person in the village and everybody wanted to spend time with him. it was frustrating, he had a secret, a big secret that made him better than everyone as he slowly got to the top of training.

everytime he came into the dining hall, everybody would go sit next to him, everytime we had training, the villagers would come watch.

word spread around quickly. I was definitely going to find out what hiccup was hiding.
