"So," Sam asked "how did it go?" Sam said on the way back to Venus attempting to start a conversation with the woman. Penny quickly glanced back at him with suspicious eyes
"Erm, yeah, it went alright. Norman thought i was a sea monster" she giggled
"Wait what?!" Sam choked trying not to laugh
"Yeah, when I was swimming towards where the boys were I heard Norman scream 'Sea monster'" she told him.
"Ok, Hello sea monster" Sam said, smirking as Penny shot hima death stare from where she was sitting.
"Samuel Jones. I swear to god" she muttered under her breath as Sam smirked out the window trying to hide his face from Penny. The rest of the journey back to the station was silent. Sam nor Penny did not know what to say to each other. After another few minutes, Penny reversed into the fire station as she and Sam got our.
"How did it go?" Steele smiled
"Well sir, me and 'sea monster' got the boys out and to safety. Turns out it was Norman pranking them" Sam explained as he gave them a look
"Sea monster?" The man questioned
"Norman called me a sea monster as i sobered towards them" Penny explained smiling as she and Penny looked at each other however immediately looked away as they made eye contact. Steele saw and gave them a knowing look that they didn't see.
"So, anyone for a cup of tea?" Sam asked to ease the tension in the room as the others followed him upstairs.
