Leafpool stood next to Iceriver and Crowfeather feeling defeated. The Clans were losing the battle against Hawk's tribe. Barely any catswere fighting the trbe anymore; only the backup cats and a  few more. She had stayed off the battle field for most of the battle, only joining at the start of the fight. She'd treated several FireClan cats, and many WindClan cats. ShadowClan had brought their medicine cat, as well as ThunderClan.  Leafpool prayed to StarClan that her friends, family, she- would not die tonight. At the moment, RiverClan was the strongest opponent to the Tribe of the Sharp Talons of an Owl. Leopardstar circled Stream, a vicious long-clawed she-cat from the tribe. Her eyes were narrowed into menacing shards of flint. Stream made the first attack. Suddenly, she sprung at the leader's ankles, hoping to offbalance her. Leopardstar was too quick for her. She jumped swiftly out of the way and evened them up with a strong blow to Stream's flank. The white cat fell to the ground. Before Leopardstar could deal her a second blow, Stream fled to the tribe's medicine cat with a tail-signaled 'I surrender'. Triumphantly, Leopardstar turned to find her next victim patiently waiting. Across the field,Sandstorm and Brambleclaw fought a brown tom called Toad. His moves, though slightly inaccurate and clumsy were terrifyingly strong. Brambleclaw pranced around Toad, occasionally nipping his legs and ears. Sandstorm dodged his blows, but barely sent any of them back. Toad swung around to lunge on Brambleclaw. Readily, the tabby crouched, as Firestar had when he defeated Scourge. Unfortunately, Toad was a bit brighter than that. He turned back to

Sandstorm who quickly slashed a crimson line into his forehead to his muzle. On a roll, she made a second move- double circle scratch. She spun around him, claws out, raking her claws against his sided. Brambleclaw's eyes widened with astonishment. He knocked the bewildered Toad down easily and prepared for a hard blow. Toad was soon unconcious.

By the time Crowfeather had rejoined the chaos of screeching cats, the Clans were obviously beating the Tribe of the Sharp Talons of an Owl. And by the time Leafpool had rejoined the battle, a battle it was no more. For the Clans had driven Hawk and his followers away with a strong and clear message: Never comw back. Come back and you die. We have defeaten. You are deafeated
