Author's Note- Sorry I didn't get your post early enough, EpicBookLover, but I started and just saw it as I was finsihing up this chapter. (Really, really sorry!)

Rosestar beckoned Shellkit and Lightkit up to the Reflecting Ledge. My kits! My kits are... are becoming apprentices! Thought Leafpool. She shivered against the leaf-fall wind that nipped at her paws and legs. It swayed her tail and ears, a blew at her belly and face. "I'm so proud of them..." Crowfeather said, suddenly looming above her. She almost screeched. "Crowfeather!" She hissed. "An introduction next time? A bit of decorum?" She added, seeing how he jumped about in his spot, waving his tail and twitching his ears, shaking his shoulders excitedly. "Shellkit, Lightkit, the time has set for the six moons of your kitship, so now you will be dubbed as apprentices." Rosestar said confidently. She often used slightly fancy words as she was very assertive and always paid attention to the surrounding world. "Lightkit, please step forward. Now you will be Lightpaw. I will mentor you myself. Shellkit, I'd just like to remind you- though your sister is mentored by the Clan leader, is it not better to be mentored by two warriors? You two will need special training as you are the roots of the Clan. Any kits in this season will. Your mentors will be Birchheart and Iceriver." Shellpaw's eyes gleamed with excitment and ambition. (Not the dangerous kind.) Iceriver's kits, Moonkit, Birchkit, Nightkit had been apprenticed too- moons earlier. Moonshadow and Birchheart had become warriors, but Nightpaw had twisted her ankle and missed out a half moon of training. His mentors were Crowfeather and Patchfur. Birchheart's had been Rosestar. Moonshadow's had been Blackstride and Dovesong.

**********ONE MOON LATER**********

"Nightstream! Nightstream! Nightstream! Nightstream!" Chorused the cats of FireClan. Though the Clan was small, it was growing... And one more healthy, loyal warrior had just been welcomed as a full warrior. Poverty and prejudice was not an issue with most of the cats. Crowfeather could be a little judgemental about kittypets outside of the Clan. (Not former ones.) "Mother," Mewed Lightpaw, "I wish me and Shellpaw could be warriors too- now..." Leafpool shook her head and sighed. "You are never done learning, my precious kit. You will stay a 'paw until you are ready, but you will always keep on learning. I promise. "
