"ThunderClan, attack!"

"WindClan, attack!"

"RiverClan, attack!"

"ShadowClan, attack!"

"FireClan, attack!"

"SkyClan, attack!"

Six Clans pelted onto the battlefield eager and willing to save their lands and their territories, and their friends and their families. Hawk's group of cats was barely as much as the cats ShadowClan and FireClan had brought together. ShadowClan had brought seven cats in their first battle patrol, RiverClan brought six, ThunderClan brought six, WindClan brought five, SkyClan brought five, and FireClan brought five. Backup cats:

ThunderClan: three backup cats

WindClan: three backup cats

SkyClan: two backup cats

RiverClan: four backup cats

ShadowClan: three backup cats

FireClan: three backup cats

In all:

ShadowClan: ten cats

RiverClan: ten cats

ThunderClan: nine cats

WindClan: eight cats

FireClan: eight cats

SkyClan: seven cats

Hawk had brought his whole tribe. Now, the Clans snarled and yowled, growled, and hissed at the Tribe of the Sharp Talons of an Owl, clawing and scraping at their faces, cursing them and their leader furiously. Rosestar and Crowfeather fought shoulder to shoulder against to large toms. Toad- her opponent- had Rosestar pinned under his front paws. She suddenly went limp. The cat's pressure on her shoulder lessened. She sprang up and batted at his face, causing scarlet lines to appear on both of his cheeks. Crowfeather gave a quick nod to her. Then, the tom that was fighting Crowfeather stopped circling around him and flew at him, claws gleaming and outstretched, ready to rip his throat out. Crowfeather leapt into the air so that his claws were on the grey cat's head- a risky move to expose belly flesh, but the tom- Silver yelped out in surprise as Crowfeather scored his claws down his ears and forehead. Silver retreated quickly, with blood dripping into is eyes. Meanwhile, four of ShadowClan's warriors stepped out and three fresh cats raced into the ocean of bleeding, screeching, furious cats. WindClan let out two. The others were still fine, only with minor injuries. Clearly, the Clans that had been left with more territory were in much better shape. Hawk's group had taken half of ShadowClan's territory and the edge of the forest from WindClan- as well as a small part of river and some rocky shore areas from ThunderClan and RiverClan. SkyClan and- somehow- ShadowClan seemed to be the strongest fighters at the moment. How could ShadowClan be so... strong? Sure, they were proud and wily, but... not many had thought of them as a good, strong, eager Clan. But now they were fighting for their home, their lives, and everything they cared for. As everybody else was.
