Terrible Accident

Chapter 7.

It was Friday afternoon; I was in my room getting ready for the basketball game later tonight. It was the first game of the season. Nothing exciting has happened since Tuesday night. I hadn't spoken to Dominic since then. I saw him outside his house and at school, but he didn't even spare me a glance. It was like he was trying to ignore me. On Wednesday afternoon after I had picked Jye up from school, he was out the front of his house lip locking with Alison.

I spent most of P.E with Phoebe. She was actually really cool and fun to hang around with. In fact, I found out about the game tonight by her today at lunch, she was picking me up from my house at 5 so we can get good seats and the game starts at 6. I was kind of upset about Dominic ignoring me.

I decided to wear a black skull lace tank top that only reached under my butt, along with a pair of fish net stockings and a pair of black ankle boots. I decided to straighten my hair and leave it out; I applied minimum makeup, with just a small amount of foundation, mascara and some lip gloss.

By the time I was done it was 4:50. Giving me about 10 minutes until Phoebe came to pick me up. Grabbing my purse and iPhone, I walked downstairs into the kitchen to grab an ice-block, only to see my mother sitting at the counter on her laptop.

"Hey ma, what are you doing?" I asked, grabbing my ice-block and sitting down next to her at the counter. Looking at her laptop screen I realised that she was on her Facebook.

"Nothing really babe, just checking my Facebook" She said, looking at me, "By the way you're dressed I'm guessing you won't be home for dinner?"

"Sorry ma, there's a basketball game at school tonight and then there is a party afterwards, so I will probably just crash at Phoebes' that is, if you don't mind?"

"No, not at all babe! Go out, have fun." She said, just as the doorbell rang. "Love you Hunter, don't be too stupid"

"Oh trust me ma, I won't be. Love you too, see you tomorrow" I said, getting up from my seat, giving her a peck on the cheek and then walking out of the room and to the front door. "Hey!"

"Hey there Baby G." Phoebe said, pulling me into her for a hug. "How you doing?"

"I'm good." I replied, walking down the pathway to her light green Buggy. I climbed into the back seat, sitting next to Damon while Samuel sat in the front with Phoebe. "Hey guys!"

"Hunter!" Damon squealed, in a high pitched voice, pulling me into him for a tight hug, laughing as het let me go. The whole ride to the school Damon kept talking to me, explaining what is happening tonight, talking about how down Dominic had seemed in the past few days and basically everything that has happened. While the two love birds sat in the front talking to each other.

Turns out that Phoebe and Sam had been dating for 3 months and it was the longest relationship Sam has been in. Phoebe was wearing a pair of black ripped jeans, a light purple tank top and a pair of light purple 4 inch stilettos. She had her hair pulled back into a loose ponytail. Both the boys were wearing their basketball uniform, which was white with a thick strip of medium blue down each side of the shirt, while the shorts were white with medium blue writing and hem.

As soon as Phoebe pulled into a parking spot in the school car park the boys jumped out and bolted over to the school gym. Getting out of the car and looking around I noticed that the car park was completely full. In fact it was so full that there were cars up and down the street.

"The car park has never been this full before ..." I voiced out my opinion, looking at Phoebe, who was looking ahead at the entrance to the gym, which had a shitload of people at it.
