(Narrating) In most stories it's the girl next door falls in love with the boy next door bla bla bla all that crap.
Luckily this isn't that kind of story.
We start in a little town called Riverdale "town with pep".
Everyone thinks this town is like this happy, innocent town where nothing happens. Well everyone is wrong.
This used to be the town with pep, but when the gang named the southside serpents came to Riverdale it all went downhill and Riverdale went from the town with pep to the town with horror. The serpents are the most dangerous gang of the United States. Luckily they keep their business on the south side, so we wouldn't notice much of it on the north side. At least we thought so....
