Chapter 9

Shit. Shit. Shit. How could I ever lose Jughead? And the chance of ever being the serpent queen. Gone. It's all Veronica's fault. That stupid bitch. Fuck. they're going to seriously hurt Jughead. Why do I care? He was just an assignment that is not mine anymore. I should be happy that i don't need to take care of him anymore. I walk to my bike and put on my helmet, I start up my motorcycle and drive back to my trailer. Once I'm back home I start to feel kind of guilty that I left Jughead there to basically die. I know how they work and what they do when they need money from someone.

B: "Fuck, i need to save him"

A: "save who?"

I look up. It's my mom.

A: "save who elizabeth?"

She asks again. I'm stressing out because if my mom finds out I fucked up my task she'll disown me. I'm not even exaggerating. I haven't talked to my sister in years because she was seen with a Ghoulie

A: "Answer me. Right now!"

B: "uhh.. Malachi! He uh.. had a shift and i needed to save him from that shift because he had some business to take care of."

A: "All right. Just be home in time for dinner okay?"

I nodded, grabbed my jacket and ran out the door to hop on my bike. When I arrive at the Whyte Wyrm it was quiet. At this time it's always quiet because everyone is in school or dealing jingle jangle, so I had my time to get jughead back. I hop off my bike and walk to the back where the secret entrance to the basement is. I walk down the stairs and look into the basement. I see Sweet Pea, one of my best friends, standing right infront of the stairs to go up to the bar. I take my phone and call the bar, I put on a girly girl voice (barf btw) and ask for Sweet Pea. The man on the phone calls sweet pea, and I see him running up the stairs.

B: "Don't do anything suspicious, act like ur flirting with me."

Sweet pea immediately starts flirting with me. Yes. this is why he is one of my best friends

S: "Well what do you need Love?"

B: "I'm going to take Jughead with me. Don't come downstairs and keep flirting or something. I will give you an address to meet up with me and you ask someone else to stand in for you to guard Jughead. When they come downstairs Jughead will be gone. act like you're going to look for him, call Toni and Fangs and come to that address. understood?"

S: "Why of course sweetie, I'll be right over"

B: " Just wait a few minutes before you get someone downstairs please and thank you. I'll see you at the address."

I go to jughead and untie him

J: "Betty? What are you doing here? And why the hell are you untying me?"

B: "I'm saving you. don't ask questions, just come with me."

I untie him and grab his arm, we run up the stairs and I hop on my bike.

B: "Hop on, we're going to take a ride. No time to be scared Jones"

As he gets on my bike I hear some serpents yelling and panicking, and I drive off. I stop at the edge of the forest and hop off my bike. we walk in the forest and get up to a bunker and we climb in.

B: "This is gonna be your new house for the next few weeks Jones."

J: "I'm sorry what? i'm not going to stay here. I'm going home"
