Betty's POV

B: "I can't do this, I'm sorry I just can't"

I walk out on the verge of tears. I walk out of the bunker not even caring about the serpents looking all over the place for us. I ran up to the spot I hid my bike and drove off.

Arriving at the trailer I burst out in tears. I liked him. A lot. But I couldn't do this to him. I couldn't let him in my life more than he already is. My parents hate northsiders. They will put him through torture and I can't put him through that pain.

A FEW DAYS LATER

I haven't spoken to Jughead since I ran out of the bunker. I can't face him. I'm afraid I'll give into my feelings. Toni, Fangs and SP have asked me about what happened but I always scoffed and changed the subject. I was about to hop in the shower when I saw Toni, Fangs and SP walk in my trailer.

B: "What the hell? This is my trailer. I could've been naked you know. Which I almost was if you walked in a minute later!"

I growled at them as SP smirks at me

SP: "I wouldn't mind"

He chuckles and Fangs punches him in the arm for that comment. I scoff and roll my eyes.

T: "We need to talk to you. We have been taking over your shifts of looking after Jughead, when we ask about what happened you change the subject like you haven't heard what we said, and Jughead isn't telling us anything either. What happened with you two?"

I look at her not being able to speak. I have a lump in my throat. I took a deep breath and when I finally had the courage to speak up we heard a knock at the door.

Reggie's POV

Since FP had sent me away I kept looking for Jughead and doing research. Not gonna lie I did feel like some kickass detective. I asked Mr. Weatherbee if he could send me the camera footage from outside the school, but he rejected me. Which I kind of get, but I found another way. My cousin is a detective and I asked her if she could help me. Being the cool cousin that she is, she said yes. She called Mr. Weatherbee and told him that it was an emergency and that he couldn't ask any questions about it. He had sent the footage to her from the day Jughead disappeared. I looked through all the footage and saw Jughead leave school, but I didn't see anything suspicious. I looked through the footage for about a 100 times when I noticed something.

R: "Wait go back. Look"

I see someone stepping out of the car. It seems to be a girl. I asked my cousin if she could zoom in and take a better look. I have to squint my eyes to see if I recognize her when my cousin just clears the picture

R: "Oh. Thanks. Can you print that out please?"

She hits print and I walk over to the printer. I don't recognize her. Can you check somehow who she is? *gasp* Do you have those face recognition thingies?"

I'm full of excitement when she cuts me off.

C: "Sweetie you watch too many cop shows"

I plopped back in my chair in disappointment.R: "You always ruin everything"

She rolled her eyes and chuckled

C: "I never said I didn't have it. Just wanted to point out that you do watch too many cop shows"

I sat right back up and looked at how my cousin looked through the face recognition program. And finally after what felt like an hour we got something. She looked exactly like the girl in the picture. Her name is Elizabeth Cooper. Fuck. She lives on the Southside. I'm terrified of the southside. I had to get back up. My cousin couldn't help me because her helping me with this was already illegal. I didn't know who to call for help. Then it hit me. I didn't know if they would help, but I had to try. I grabbed my keys and hopped in my car. I pulled up at Andrew's house and knocked on the door. He answered the door.
