A simple task

Chapter 10

                                                                               Jughead's POV

I've been stuck in this bunker for about 5 days. Betty, Toni, Sweet Pea and fangs have all been doing shifts watching me. It's like they're babysitting me, I hate it. Fangs, Sweet Pea and Toni are actually pretty cool. They get me pops and talk to me, but I like it the most when Betty is here with me. These past few days with her were great. Every night she was here she brought Pops and we talked and laughed. She even laughed so hard one time the milkshake came out through her nose.

B: "Stop it! My stomach hurts!'

She laughed. I loved the way she laughed. When Toni came in to free Betty from her shift I was a bit sad, because I didn't want her to leave. Soon after she left I fell asleep.

B: "Jughead! Where are you?! Please help me!

I heard her voice, but I couldn't see her. She kept yelling and I ran and ran to her voice, but I couldn't find her. After what felt like forever I didn't hear her anymore. I stopped running and there she lay on the ground, covered in blood. I fall down on my knees next to her and lay her on my lap.

J: "Please Betty, don't leave me. You can't leave me

A tear rolls down my cheek when all of a sudden I hear a noise behind me. I turn around and see him standing behind me. Malachi. I stand up and punch him in his face. He looks at me with a devilish face and laughs. He suddenly has a bat with nails in his hand and starts beating me. I fell down to the ground and didn't even bother to move. Because what was the point of living if she wasn't here with me.

I wake up and look around the room. I'm still in the bunker. I don't feel any pain. It was just a horrible nightmare. Toni looks at me with frowned eyebrows.

T: "What's up Jug? Had a bad dream?"

She snickered. I looked at her, still confused by what just happened.

T: "Tell me, what'd you dream about?

I hesitate if I should tell her.

T: "Come on jug, I heard you talking, now tell me what's up"

I take a deep breath and start talking. I told her about the dream and that it felt so real, I still couldn't fully realize it was just a dream. Toni laughed a bit and I looked at her with deadly eyes signing she shouldn't laugh.

T: "Sorry Jug, but i just find it funny that u have a crush on Betty even tho she is the reason you got into this mess"

I sigh

J: "Yes, but she also saved me from Malachi. That must mean something right?"

I let a small smile escape in pure excitement. Toni chuckles and sighs

T: "Oh Jug, you're so new at love. I love it"

I blush as we hear the bunker door open. It's Sweet Pea. Thank god I don't have to talk about my feelings anymore, I hate it.

T: "Have fun boys. Oh and SP? You should ask him about his nightmare. Trust me you won't regret it"

She winks at me and gets out of the bunker. "I hate you" I mouth at her while she leaves. Fuckkkkk. I don't want this. SP will a hundred percent make fun of me.

SP: "Oh? So little Juggy had a bad dream? Do I need to tuck you in?"

He laughs as I punch him out of irritation.

J: "Don't u fucking joke with me, i'm fucking serious"

SP: "I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Tell me, what was it about?
