[Beomgyu's POV]

I was sitting in the teacher's room while I waited for the exchange students to arrive. I locked my hands together as I stretched my arms in front of me. As on cue they all walked inside, eyeing me suspiciously. I jumped up from my seat as I told the teacher that we were off to look at the school.

"And here we have the sport-" I froze in my tracks. I couldn't believe my ears. I felt anger building up inside of me.

"Bless the noblesse." Someone in the group whispered too loudly. I slowly turned around to see them all staring at one of the boys. I walked closer to him as my aura turned to a cold one.

"What was that?" I asked sternly. My eyes were probably on fire as the scared boy stared at me. It was the same boy that had been in the classroom with me and Minjung. Vampires. I hated them as much as I hated being a noblesse. I harshly pulled up my sleeve as I showed them my birthmark. I didn't want any of them to miss it. Their eyes widened. I was too angry at their supposed to be remark.

"I'm gonna act like I didn't hear that. The girl I'm hanging out with, Minjung, don't talk to her, don't look at her and don't touch her." I growled before I started to walk away towards the library. I just wanted to act like I had a normal life when I was in school, my free zone had now been taken away from me. Minjung was my only safe place left.

[Minjung's POV]

I was lazily doing my homework in the library. It wasn't too crowded as some classes were still ongoing. I looked at my clock to see that it was already past 5 pm. I packed together my things as I started to walk towards my locker, too tired to continue studying. Quick steps were heard in the corridor while I organized my locker. I closed it and looked towards the sound, Beomgyu were walking towards me looking furious.

"Are you okay? Were the guys mean to you?" I carefully asked as I didn't want the boy in front of me to explode. His stern expression softened as he stared at me.

"I'm fine, let's go." He said as he softly grabbed my wrist while leading me out of the school's building.

I was waiting outside of my apartment for Beomgyu to pick me up for school. He stopped in front of me and I opened the door to the passenger seat. The boy in the driver's seat had huge dark circles under his eyes, his lips were dry and his bed head was horrible. I gasped at the sight. I quickly got in as I pulled out a water bottle for the boy to drink. I took out my foundation cushion out of my bag as I started to apply makeup on his heavy bags. I finished by brushing down his hair the best I could before I closed the door to the car.

I stepped out of Beomgyu's car as we arrived at school. We were walking together towards the building as we were stopped on our way.

"Please accept my confession noona!" It was the same young boy from yesterday confessing to me 8:15 in the morning. I smiled at him as I reached for the box with the same homemade cookies in.

"She hates cookies." Beomgyu coldly said before he kept walking towards the school as he hit the younger boy with his shoulder on the way. I stared at my best friend's back unbelievably. I grabbed the younger boy's box while quickly bowing at him as a thank you before I ran after the older boy.

"Beomgyu!" I shouted as I catch my breath by his locker. He seemed tense as he was also acting weird today. He ignored me.

"Beomie..." I pouted while showing him some aegyo that I knew he liked. I could feel embarrassment wash over me as he shifted his gaze over to me. It would be worth it.

"I'm sorry Minjung I didn't sleep anything last night. You don't need to worry about me." His satoori accent showing through as he beamed me his signature smile.

"You're strange." I answered as I laughed at him. I saw the blonde boy at the end of the corridor who was in the cafeteria yesterday looking at my direction. I waved at him to gain his attention. He looked shocked at me as he pointed at himself. I nodded as I kept waving before I received a short wave and a wink back from him.

"We will be doing a group project that will cover 40% of your final grade." The teacher suddenly said. I widened my eyes in horror at her statement. Beomgyu looked back at me as I shot him a finger heart, I knew that he had my back when it came to big projects.

"And the groups are already chosen by me." My head fell on my desk defeatedly. I was in my own world as I mentally kissed my grade goodbye, not listening to the lesson anymore.

"Minjung, Ni-ki, Jungwon and..." I didn't care about the rest of the group, I just wanted her to say Beomgyu's name. I squeezed my eyes as I silently prayed.

"Sunghoon" I slowly opened my eyes to see Beomgyu looking back at me apologetically. I leaned back in my chair as I stared up at the ceiling disappointedly.

"And the last group is Beomgyu, Heeseung, Jay and Sunoo." Beomgyu mimicked my movement as he leaned back defeatedly while he hissed. Angry that he needed to work with them.

"For the project I want you to either read a book or watch a movie about something supernatural. Afterwards I want you to write down all the odd things as you try to explain how they could make sense in the world we live in today. For example, a vampire's white fangs could make sense in today's world because the human teeth look the same, just less exaggerated." She explained as my eyes twinkled. There was no way that I would get a low grade on this. Beomgyu looked back at me sadly, he knew that I was going to ace this and he wouldn't be able to gain a good grade from it.

The teacher dismissed us as she walked out of the room while biding us goodbye. I gently bowed before I started to pack my things. Three taller boys went over to my desk as they towered over me.

"Hello Minjung, we're all in your group and we wondered if you would like to stay in the library after school to start on the project?" The blonde boy who had been waving at me asked. I smiled as I nodded at his question. Beomgyu suddenly appeared by my side while putting his arm over my shoulders as he stared down the boys in front of us. They all looked nervously down at the floor before they quickly walked out of the classroom.

"Beomgyu you're so scary." I giggled at his stern expression. He didn't look intimidating, he looked like a small puppy acting like a big dog.
