[Minjung's POV]
I casually walked inside the school as I greeted everyone with a bright smile on the way to my locker. I rummaged my locker in search for my school supplies that was needed for the first period. I felt a rough flick at the back of my head as I caressed the spot with my hand while crying out.

"Beomgyu I will kill you one day." I threatened him as he was the only one who dared to lay a finger on me. The male's laugh could be heard echoing through the corridor followed by multiple feminine sighs which indicated that we were the girl's center of attention this morning.

"I got to know this morning that we're getting seven transfer students today" Beomgyu said shocked as he would always update me about school news. It wasn't too bad that my best friend was the class president. I furrowed my eyebrows at the news as I closed my locker.

"That sounds so weird. Maybe they're a werewolf clan or something that needed to move because their territory was taken. Or what if they're vampires!" I squealed at the thought of vampires. Beomgyu rolled his eyes at my ridiculous theories as he groaned at the thought of me speculating about the transfer students for the rest of the school year. I had always been interested by the supernatural but I was always shut down by everyone as it was something that only existed in books and movies.

We walked inside the classroom and sat at our assigned seats. I had my desk at the window in the further back of the room while Beomgyu sat in front of me, slightly to my right. I pulled out my notebook with all my theories and research about the supernatural as I started to doodle in it, thinking of more possible things that could exist in the universe.

The teacher walked in followed by 7 boys, no resemblance between them what so ever. They introduced themselves one by one, harsh whispers between the students would occur after each introduction. I turned my gaze back to the window before they were done with the introductions as I continued to write in my notebook.

I was sent back to reality as the chair next to my desk got pulled out by one of the new students. I faced him as I stretched out my hand to greet him.

"My name is Chong Minjung." I said cheekily. The boy turned his attention over to me as he shook my tiny hand with his.

"Lee Heeseung." He simply said as his gaze danced around on my table, not looking at me. I followed his gaze to see that he was staring at my page about vampires that I had flipped to during their introductions. I quickly closed my notebook, gaining his attention as I awkwardly smiled at him before letting go of his hand.

My first period had ended and I was packing my stuff in my bag and arranging my books in size. Beomgyu lazily stretched his body while leaning against my desk as he waited for me, his pretty birthmark on his wrist peeking out of his uniform. It looked like a rough sketch of ying and yang on his wrist, I had always been jealous of that as long as I could remember. Someone loudly coughed in the classroom while staring at Beomgyu before he quickly left the two of us alone in the room.

"Who was that?" I questioned as I stood up signaling him that I was ready to go. I didn't know the names of the new students as I didn't pay attention to their introductions. We started to slowly walk towards our lockers before heading to the cafeteria for lunch.

"It was one of the new guys, Jungwon I think?" Beomgyu said, obviously insecure over the new student's name. I nodded in response as I tried to add that name to my horrible memory.

I took a seat at a table near the window in the cafeteria as Beomgyu sat in front of me. I loved to sit beside the window. It somehow made me feel safe and less trapped inside buildings. I didn't get to take a bite of my lunch before I was interrupted.

"Noona please take this!" A younger boy exclaimed beside my seat while folding his body to a 90 degree bow as he held out a box of homemade cookies with a letter inside. I quickly took the box from the boy, accidentally gracing my fingertips against his hands. He looked up at me shocked while his face turned red. I tried my best to smile at the younger boy as sweetly as I could. He bowed before he quickly walked away as he was staring at his hands in awe.

"Here eat up." I said to Beomgyu as I gave him the box. The same boy had confessed to me for a week straight now. I had never noticed him before and it felt so out of place for him to do that.

"You're such a nice person Minjung, I will remember this kind gesture." He joked as he started to eat the cookies. I hated cookies which was another reason that I couldn't fully accept the younger boy's homemade cookies that he put so much love and effort in to make.

I started to eat my lunch again peacefully. I felt multiple pairs of eyes staring at me as I chewed my food. I glanced behind Beomgyu to see the new exchange students looking at us. I waved cheerfully at them which made them shift their attention to something else except for the young, blonde one who waved back at me happily.

The last period was a big blur as I had been doodling in my supernatural notebook the whole time. I packed my things and walked with Beomgyu to our lockers.

"I need to show the exchange students around the school." He apologetically confessed while looking at me with sad eyes.

"It's fine I can wait in the library. I still have homework to do." I smiled at him before we parted ways. I looked at my clock to see that the time was 15:47.
