[Minjung's POV]

It was Thursday which meant another day without Beomgyu at school. I took the bus this morning as I had told Heeseung to not pick me up. I was slowly walking towards the school's building when I saw a familiar figure. There was no way. My body started to move on it's own as I sprinted towards the figure. I quickly wrapped my arms around him as I hugged him tightly while squealing. The boy froze for a second before he turned around to hug me back.

"I missed you so much you ass!" I yelled into his chest. I felt relieved that Beomgyu was already back as I couldn't be without him for much longer. He chuckled at me as he held me tighter. I slowly pulled away from him as he let go of me.

"Hey why aren't you telling me that you missed me-" I looked behind the tall boy to relieve four unfamiliar faces. My eyes grew wide as I stared at them in embarrassment.

"These are my... Friends. They exchanged to this school." Beomgyu suspiciously explained as he introduced me to the group. The blue haired boy was named Soobin, the pink haired was called Yeonjun, the blonde boy's name was Taehyun as the last dark haired boy introduced himself as Hueningkai. I felt my eyes accidentally flicker as I got nervous. The strangers looked at me shocked before they turned to Beomgyu for an explanation.

"She's a noblesse, a fresh one." He explained as I anxiously looked down at the ground. Then it hit me. I looked up at him with wide eyes.

"A fresh-Why are you exposing me to humans!?" I questioned Beomgyu before giving him a slap on the arm. He rolled his eyes at me before beaming me a sarcastic smile.

"They're royals." He simply said as if I would know what he meant. I looked at him dumbfounded as my head got filled with even more questions.

"The outcome of a vampire and a noblesse." He sighed before he put his arm over my shoulders as he lead me inside the building. The rest of the boys followed closely behind through the corridors. The school was empty as it was still early.

"So they're like... Superior?" I asked as we wandered through the corridors. Beomgyu hummed at my question.

"They're so strong that they could feed on you if they really wanted to." He said as he put pressure on the word 'you'. I gasped before I looked back at the exchange students horrified. The boys gave me an awkward smile. We dropped off the new students at the principals office.

"Is this your making?" I asked, I found it hard to believe that his friends randomly exchanged to our school all at the same time. He gulped at my question as he looked around.

"Heeseung told me some things about that Chunsun boy." He confessed. I tilted my head as I didn't know what he meant. His face got serious as he stared into my eyes.

"I made them exchange here to protect you, I don't want you to get hurt." He said as he hugged me tightly. I stood frozen in place. I didn't get what he was trying to protect me from.

"Good morning Minjung noona. Long time no see Beomgyu hyung." A male greeted us. I turned around to see Chunsun standing there while smiling widely at us, specifically at me.

"Hi Chunsun. You're here early." I greeted him with a weak smile. I felt my heart beat a little faster, was I scared? Beomgyu glared at the boy in front of us as he stayed silent.

"I'm here early to practice. I'll catch you later noona!" He explained before leaving our sight. I let out a heavy sigh, it felt like a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders as the younger boy disappeared.

I watched the students arrive to the classroom as I waited for my first class to start. I felt someone poke my shoulder as I looked up to see Sunoo staring down at me. He grabbed Heeseung's chair as he sat down next to me while leaning on my desk.

"Have you seen the new exchange students?" He asked curiously, his eyes were gleaming with excitement. How did he already know about them? I slowly nodded before my eyes flickered, the thought about them made me anxious.

"Does Minjung noona have a crush on one of them!? I saw your eyes flicker!" He exclaimed, gaining the attention from Beomgyu and Jay who sat at the row in front of us. I shook my head at his question while I stared at him in shock. Why would I have a crush on someone that was so intimidating? They could literally snap my neck if they wanted to. Sunoo pouted at my answer.

The teacher came into the classroom followed by the four new exchange students. Sunoo hurriedly ran to his seat as Heeseung sat down beside me. Our teacher introduced the new students while I looked at them with trembling eyes. They made me feel scared. I felt a tight knot in my stomach as they all went to take a seat. The blue haired boy took a seat close to me, winking at me before he sat down. It felt like my heart stopped by his sudden action.

The bell rang as I quickly stood up. Heeseung had probably noticed my worryingly thoughts during the lesson as his gaze never left me. I linked my arm with Beomgyu, scared that the exchange students would come close if I let go of him.

I dragged Beomgyu towards a table in the cafeteria as we sat down with our lunch. I sighed peacefully as I was about to dig in. The new exchange students each took a seat at our table, the blue haired boy sat down beside me while beaming me a smile. I looked at Beomgyu for help but he was too busy talking to them. I turned my gaze towards the window as I tried my hardest to ignore them.

"So Minjung, are you taken?" The boy with pink hair asked. Everyone looked at him in shock as I gulped at his question.

"I'm just trying to get information about her. Is that too much?" He said annoyingly, clearly uncomfortable by all the attention. I shook my head at him to answer the question.

"Are you interested in someone?" Soobin asked curiously as he stared intensely at me. I stayed silent as I thought about his question for a while.

"Yes, me. So move away from my seat." A male demanded behind us. I looked back to see Heeseung with the rest of the group. He seemed pissed. I slowly sunk down in my seat as the tension was too much for me. I looked at Beomgyu with pleading eyes as he shrugged at me.

"Sure, I don't want to start a fight on my first day. Even if I would win, right Beomgyu?" Soobin asked while he looked at Beomgyu before standing up and taking another seat. I nervously sighed at the tension as I looked up to see Heeseung still staring at the blue haired boy. His eyes turned red as I quickly turned my eyes towards Soobin to see his eyes glow blue.

"You both are being ridiculous right now." Yeonjun stated as he glared at the two boys. Their eyes turned back to their original colors, Heeseung sat down beside me before he held my hand tightly.

"You seem to have already forgotten that we're here for Minjung, you're scaring her right now which isn't what you want. Right?" Yeonjun continued as he scolded Soobin who was now sitting beside him.

"W-why are you here for Minjung noona? Are you going to take her away from me?" Ni-ki asked as he worriedly looked at the new students. The older boys scoffed at his innocent question.

"We're going to protect your noona. You don't want her to fall in the hands of a demon lord hm?" Taehyun asked the younger boy.

"A what!?" Sunoo exclaimed as he covered his mouth in shock. The royals explained the situation with Chunsun as the rest of the boys looked scared to death. If they only knew that I could turn out the same way. They all gulped as they got to know that the new students were royals. Was it that much of a big deal?
