16 - Sweet blood

[Minjung's POV]

I walked out of the bathroom while drying my hair with a towel. I got closer to my bedroom as I heard loud voices inside the room.

"What am I thinking about now hyung!?" Ni-ki exclaimed excitedly. The door was closed as I stopped in front of it.

"You're fantasizing about Minjung feeding on you. Stop you're making me gag." Heeseung complained while gagging. I slowly opened the door to reveal the three boys sitting on my bed, it looked like they were having a sleepover.

"What are you guys doing?" I asked the three boys curiously in front of me. They all nervously exchanged glances between each other.

"Nothing noona!" Jungwon answered cheekily. I furrowed at him as I didn't fall for his lie. His anxious expression showed me that they were up to something.

"I can read minds." Heeseung blurted out as he gave me my book. I read the title of the page as my eyes widened. 'Blood from a noblesse'. I quickly skimmed through the pages before my head started to spin. How could I be so careless about my actions? I should've read that book before interacting with vampires.

"I'm sorry Heeseung." I said as tears fell down my cheeks. I felt sorry that I might've given him something that he doesn't want. I felt sorry that I was so careless when it came to him. I felt sorry that I might have caused him pain.

"Don't be Minjung." Heeseung said while hugging me. His embrace made me feel safe and calm. I hugged him back as I inhaled his sweet vanilla scent.

"Noona I want a trait too!" Ni-ki exclaimed excitedly as he back hugged me, snuggling his face into my back.

"Me too!" Jungwon said while back hugging Ni-ki, making a train out of us. I laughed as the younger boys cheered me up.

"Don't think so badly of yourself Minjung." Heeseung comforted me. I had already forgotten that he could read my mind. I smiled widely at him, it was going to be hard to hide my true feelings from him.

I stepped inside Beomgyu's car as he looked weirdly at the three boys stepping inside in the backseat. I smiled apologetically at him and explained the situation. He huffed in annoyance.

"By the way, happy birthday Beomie!" I exclaimed as I gave him my gift. He looked at me shocked. I would never forget his birthday, yet the boy in front of me seemed surprised. He opened the gift and held up the shirt that I picked out for him. He thanked me as he placed a kiss on my forehead. I smiled widely at him as I tried to hide my feelings by his lovely actions.

"Where are we going?" I asked excitedly. He grabbed my hand and rubbed his thumb in circles as he started to drive.

"The arcade." He simply answered as he quickly glanced at me. My eyes lit up as they flickered out of excitement. I love the arcade. I heard Ni-ki happily shout in the backseat.

I excitedly ran inside the arcade with Ni-ki as we giggled. We saw a dance revolution machine for two and stepped up on it. The rest of the boys watched as I got my ass beaten by Ni-ki. I pouted at my screen who showed defeat. The younger boy patted me on the head as an attempt to cheer me up.

Beomgyu had dragged me to all the different claw machines after buying me a slushy, he probably saw my silky figure after the game with Ni-ki. I stopped at one of the machines as I saw that it was filled with big, fluffy teddy bears. Heeseung who was trailing behind me saw me stare at the plushies.

"Do you want one?" He asked as he put his arm around my shoulders. I looked up at him with sparkly eyes as I nodded. He slid his arm around my waist as he pushed me closer to him while he played on the machine. It only took him three tries until he got one of the bears. I squealed out of excitement as I grabbed the plushie.
