Luke's POV
The next day-
"Good morning!!!" Carrie shouts walking into my room smashing pans against each other.
"Ahh stop!! What time is it?" I say lifting my head up slightly.
"7:00." She says.
"Why are you waking me up so early??!" I ask, annoyed.
"Because you are not gonna be a downer. You are coming to dirty candy rehearsal." She says plopping down next to me.
"Ughhhhh!" I groan into the pillow.
"Yea Yea, get up and be ready by 7:30." She says walking out. "Chop chop!" I get out of bed and drag myself to the bathroom. I brush out my hair and brush my teeth. Then, I put on a random shirt and some pants.
"You ready?" Carrie says looking away from her phone when she sees me walk down the stairs.
"Yea i guess." I say basically falling asleep on the railing.
"WAKE UP! If you don't I'm gonna make you dance with us." She says. I immediately straighten up not wanting to dance with them, she chuckles.
"Alright let's go." She says grabbing her keys. We walk out and get into her car.
"Damn you have a nice car." I say.
"Thanks." She says starting it. When we get to the little studio they had for rehearsing, we walk in and all the girls were already there. Most of them were just on their phones waiting for Carrie.
"Hey girls!" She says strutting into the room.
"Heyy!!" All the girls say. "Uh Luke?"
"Hi." I say sitting on the floor.
"I made him come here." Carrie says.
"Um Car, isn't he Julie's boyfriend?" I hear Kayla whisper to Carrie.
"Yea, he's staying with us for a little." She whispers back. "LUKE! NO SLEEPING!"
"Whyyy???!" I whine.
"Because i will make you dance with us." She dragging me off the floor.
"Ughhh. Where do I sit then." I ask.
"You can sit over there and watch, DON'T FALL ASLEEP." She says pointing to one of the corners in the room, where there was a couch.
"Sure.." I say.
"Ok girls let's start on the dance that we've been practicing lately." She says. I watch them do their dance but fall asleep.
"LUKE!" Carrie shouts which makes me fall off.
"Owww!" I groan. "Why'd you wake me??"
"Because I specifically told you not to fall asleep you dork." She says. "Ok back to the dance." Once they're distracted I leave the studio from the back. As I'm making my way back to Bobby's house, I think about Julie. Wait what if Carrie was right? What if Julie doesn't like Nick? What if she just kissed him because those feelings came back for a little bit. Oh shoot. If thats true, she's probably blaming herself for this mess. Nooo it's not her fault!! It's mine!! I'm the one that was stupid!! I didn't let her explain! If I would, then I would probably be with her right now!
(A/n ik that in the chapter where he comes back, I put in that he came back all bruised up, but we're gonna pretend like I didn't. K thx.)
"What the hell is wrong with me!" I say to myself. "I have to go back and let her explain!"
I run back to the studio but bump into someone. Flynn.
"LUKE??!!" She shouts.
"Flynn-" I start but she cuts me off.
"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN??!! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT YOU HAVE PIT JULIE THROUGH!!?? SHE WENT TO THE HOSPITAL!!" She yells at me.
"WAIT WHAT???! IS SHE OK?!!!?"
"YEA, BUT SHE HAS BEEN A WRECK EVER SINCE YOU LEFT!!! SHE EVEN WENT TO YOUR PARENTS!!" She continues.
"What?!! W-what did she say to them.." I ask.
"SHE'LL EXPLAIN NOW GO!!" She says.
"U-uh ok." I say and then run over to the studio. I stop right outside the doors. I look through the windows and see her crying. What the hell have I done. I quietly open the doors. I start to tear up.
"J-Julie." I say.
"Luke?" I hear her says and she runs up to me. I back away just in case if she does actually like Nick. "W-why'd you come back?"
"I-I couldn't be away from you, but you like Nick so I have to push those feelings away." I say.
"No please! Stop! I don't like Nick!! At all!" She says. I see tears running down her face. God this is killing me.
"I don't know what to believe anymore from you Julie." I say. I have to look down to stop myself from running up and hugging her.
"Luke please let me explain." She begs.
"Fine." I finally say, my voice cracking.
"I used to like Nick, like before you guys even came into my life. I guess that when he tried to kiss me that day, I felt like my old stupid self and kissed him back. I promise you that I don't like him AT ALL now. He might like me but I don't care, the only person I want to be with is you." She says. I stay quiet to take in everything she just said.
"You sure?" I ask.
"Yes no doubt." She says immediately.
"You really sure?" I ask her.
"Yes." She says.
"You really really sure?" I ask again, looking up and smiling a little.
"Ok now your just messing with me." She says chuckling but her eyes still full of tears.
"Ok, I missed you." I say hugging her really tight. I'm so happy to have her back in my arms.
"Me too." I here her mumble into my shoulder. After our little moment, we sit down on the couch and she tells me EVERYTHING that happened these past days.
"Wow. Thats a lot." I say. "I-I'm so sorry I put through all that."
"I deserved it." She says. "I shouldn't have kissed Nick."
"No Jules. Stop blaming yourself. I should've just let you explain. Then we could've avoided all this. Its my fault." I say.
"Yea but I still shouldn't have kissed Nick. Those feelings are in the past, I love you now." She says.
"Love?" I ask. Did Julie Molina just say she loves me??
"Y-yea.." She says, I smile.
"I love you too." I say.
