"Okay, I did not expect that we'd be encountering two creatures in our last destination."
Sparks of colors decorated the screen of white fog where the swarm of giant beasts crawled on all eight legs, towering over the small and frail figures of magical entities scattered across the misty field. Their coats of jet-black skin fathom that of nothingness, bearing a tinge of danger writhing over one's spine beyond the eight orbs shining over it in extreme delight. They snarled through their large and sharp pincers, clicking and clacking to the rhythm of their growling hunger found in the pit of their stomachs as drops of saliva dripped out of their mouths, a vile essence of poison secreting along with it.
The Slytherin cousins agitatedly fought against the hoard of Acromantulas with their backs against each other as they simultaneously worked their wands through slashes and flicks of offensive spells, darting the air in a split second before landing critical attacks on the wild creatures; some of them managing to luckily evade the hits, while some were unlucky to get themselves beaten down to their deaths.
The two stopped abruptly once a painful and piercing screech rang through their ears, the sound shooting in and out the other that caused them both to hunch and cover their sense of hearing with either their palms or tips of their fingers – anything – to prevent themselves from taking in too much of the pain, yet even if it had only blasted through them in a second and had disappeared just as quickly, the weight could be felt within heaving two unevenly short, exasperated breaths.
Félix grunted under his breath as his teeth grind against each other, his eyes narrowing into slits the moment he caught sight of an Acromantula shooting its webs from out of its spinnerets, immediately blocking it with a swat of his wand that swiftly reflected the attack at the creature. "I don't think we're supposed to," he replied before casting an Impediment Jinx, causing the targeted spider to knock itself backwards and lay curled up on its back, its eight legs flailing around with the means to get back up to its feet.
Adrien stopped in the middle of his incantation as he took a glimpse at his cousin behind him. "What? What do you mean?" He asked, confusion written on his frame before he faced his opponent again and continued to stun it with a simple Stupefy that prevented the Acromantula from charging straight towards him.
The other blonde male reciprocated his glance with a side-eye before gazing back at the eight striking, black eyes glaring daggers at his figure. "Something's not right, Adrien." His weaponed hand hastily stabbed the air with a Shield Charm whence the large beast suddenly dashed ahead of itself and caught the wizard off-guard, its head crashing itself on the invisible shield before it bounced away from him in a blink. Félix sharply inhaled a breath when he watched how the Acromantula's eyes had pressed itself against the shield as it mirrored his tired face, he did his best to not feel the shivers that were running up and down his arms from staring at his own reflection in its eyes.
The said boy stood puzzled as he strikes his enemy down with a flick of his wand. "Why would you think that?" He questioned him, his brows furrowing in frustration after seeing another creature joining them while baring its sharp fangs at him, boasting the dangers of the substance that was dripping out from its mouth in a form of purple and green saliva, slipping down onto its pincers that clicked together in excitement upon finding another one of its preys to feast on.
The potty blonde scoffed once the spider beast tried an attempt to ravish him again, its mouth spitting out its poison aimed straight towards him that blasted like a bullet, one that he easily dodged with a side-step while pulling his cousin along before grabbing the back of his robes to reel him next to him. "Didn't you noticed anything about the creatures we previously fought?" He asked, then suddenly pushed the boy away from him as another shot of webs darted across them. It startled Adrien as he landed his bottom on the ground with an "oof!" as he gathered himself to answer back at Félix.
