Two Halves of a Whole

            'She sure knows how to act' Rane thought to herself remembering how she tried to slice her with air magic during training one. "Sydney darling, how are you? Was your trip to Reul nice?" Mother said with a genuine smile. "It was a lovely mother. I went to a play called Romeo's Star Gaze, and met up with some friends from University. I brought gifts!" Sydney said while pulling out a couple of neatly wrapped gifts from her handbag. "For little Rane'' Sydney said to Rane and handed her a present. "The lovely Bride to be'' Sydney said and handed Purity a blue wrapped present. "And for the best mother in-law one could ask for." Sydney said handing Mother the largest present. Inside Rane's was a water enhancement necklace from a popular designer, for Purity there was a beautiful silver necklace with tiny flower charms, and for Mother there was a handbag that was limited edition and only found in Reul. "I hope you like them." Sydney said with a plastered on smile.

            "It's lovely," Rane said through gritted teeth. 'She's giving me an enhancement tool like I'm not one of the most powerful people here. "Thank you Sydney, I will wear it on my wedding day!" Purity said with grateful tears. "Oh my thoughtful daughter in-law, not just daughter. These gifts were wonderful." Mother said now crying too. "Oh they weren't that great you guys. shall we go." Sydney said, trying to continue shopping. "Oh yes yes. Let's go." Mother said. When everyone started moving there was one person who was stuck rooted in place, Rane. "Rane sweetie come on." Mother said trying to figure out what's wrong with her daughter. But Rane didn't hear any of this because she heard a voice in her head. "Rane, Rane, Rane" the voice said. "Yes now who are you?" Rane said in her mind. She felt as if it was familiar yet new, and the voice completely took control of her mind. "Rane, you didn't even recognize your own ArchAngels voice?" Angel Uriel said. "That's who you are. We haven't talked in a while, and we always communicate in different ways. I'm sorry." Rane said because she was scared he would be mad at her. "Don't worry about it Sweetie. But I sense danger around you. Be careful, and we shall talk soon." Angel Uriel said then quickly disappeared into her thoughts.

            Rane snapped back into reality and saw her mother staring at her with a scared expression. "Mother what's the matter?" Rane confused why she was looking at her so internally. "There is a small drawing of a glowing sword on your temple." My mother said. Rane took out a small hand mirror and observed her head, and sure enough a small glowing sword with blue undertones could be seen etched into her temple. Thump thump. Suddenly started to faint right in the middle of Green Street Plaza. Quickly regaining consciousness Rane said "Mother I just talked to ArchAngel Uriel, and he said he sensed danger nearby. I would feel more comfortable if we could go home." Rane said in a shaky voice. So Sydney, Purity, Mother, and Rane all hurried back to their house without getting any shopping do

         "HEN!HEN! Your sister just talked to ArchAngel Uriel and suddenly fainted. Get her to her room while I call the priest!" Mother said in a shaken voice. She knew that Rane had talking to Angel Uriel before but this had never happened before. "Yes mother right away." Hennrick said in a worried voice. He ran downstairs and scooped his sister up, feeling guilty about yelling at her about being the chosen one. All this while Purity and Sydney were frozen at the house entrance unsure of what to do. After Rane was safely upstairs and the priest was called, the three people hurriedly linked Daniel Rane's dad. "Daniel!Daniel! It's Rane she talked to Angel Uriel, fainted, then had a glowing sword on her temple!" Mother hurriedly mind linked Father. "Calm down Chrissy, she will be fine." He said calmly. "Dad and I are on our way home." Father said. "Ok see you here." Mother said a little more calm after talking to her husband. "Mother it's storming very rough outside. It's pretty much a hurricane." Purity pointed out looking outside. Running up to Rane's room Hen saw something horrifying. There was Rane standing on the deck with her hair turning into a deep black. Then the worst thing was like a shadow above her was an image of Angel Uriel with his wings wrapped around her with an eerie dark blue hue. "MOTHER!" Hennrick screamed unsure of what to do. Running upstairs everyone saw the same ghastly sight. Then all of the sudden they all heard the same voice. A voice with a little hint of Rane and a voice could make thunder booms. "Oh welcome my dear Rane's family. I just need her body a little bit. I'll help her achieve more power than you could ever dream of coming back in 2 hours." The shadow said who everyone assumed was Angel Uriel. "Almighty one please return our precious Rane safely. Mighty be thy name." Mother said and quickly hurried the young adults outside.
