In five minutes there food came out smelling so delicious it could make you want to cry. "Grumbling Princess?" A different waiter was confused about the name. "That's me." Ashe said while quickly grabbing the food. So they went to sit at a three seated table as Rane informed Ashe that she came here with someone. They quickly dived into the food and drinks and it was heavenly. "Thank God for this food." Rane said blissfully as she ate the cakes. She then proceeded to have a drink of the tears of a unicorn and ended up getting some on her upper lip. Reaching over to wipe it off Ashe said, "You're such a klutz that you got your drink on your lip." with a laugh.
This action caught Rane off guard and caused her to blush, and her face was as red as a cherry tomato. And this was the scene that Lindsey saw when she walked into the bakery. Her best friend was sitting there eating with a handsome boy while he was leaning over her. With a squeal Lindsey quickly went over to Rane. This was enough for Rane to snap back into reality and quickly withdraw from Ashe. "Renny who is this?" Lindsey said with a mischievous look in her eyes. "This is Ashe Saxe. Ashe this is one of my best friends Lindsey." Rane said awkwardly. "How do you do Sir Ashe? May I ask where you guys met? Rane has never mentioned you before." Lindsey said, trying to figure out what their relationship was.
"Nice to meet you Miss Lindsey. Also Rane has never mentioned me before because we just met outside the bakery." Ashe said as calm as before. "Oh!" Lindsey said exaggerating the O. "That makes sense, but for just meeting you two are close." Lindsey said, but before she could investigate any farther she caught sight of the delicious foods. "Are these for me!" Lindsey said before snatching up the treats. Rane couldn't help but laugh. Lindsey was shy and polite when she was working, but any other time she was energetic and brazen. Unbeknownst to Lindsey that Rane was thinking about her, Lindsey dived into the food. The bakery really lived up to its name Lindsey thought. After around five minutes of Rane and Ashe watching Lindsey eat Rane was ready to leave the awkward situation. Pulling Lindsey away from her food Rane said, "Well Mr. Ashe I'm afraid it is time for our departure. Thank you for the treat." hurriedly while walking to the door. "Bye Miss. Rane and Lindsey. May we see each other again." Ashe said right before Rane and Lindsey walked through the door.
On the way home Lindsey was upset with Rane for pulling her away from her food, and Rane was trying to process what just happened. Half way through the train ride Lindsey said, "Well I guess I know who my dearest Renny will marry." With a knowing smirk. Rane used her water magic and drenched Lindsey right on the stop while saying, "Stop it. Stop it. It's not like that'' In an embarrassed tone. "Oh it is so like that." Lindsey said while blowing Rane with her wind magic.
There was an awkward pause before both girls started to laugh uncontrollably. "You like him, haha" Lindsey said through laughs. "No I don't" Rane said, definitely crossing her arms. They both went back and forth like that for the remainder of the ride trying to get their point across while breaking into fits of laughter. When they got back they were exhausted from the day's events. True to her word Rane and Lindsey arrived back at the manor at 9:00. Lindsey excused herself after thanking Rane and wishing her goodnight before heading off to her room. Rane decided to go upstairs and change before she would go and visit any of her family members. So she rushed to her room and took a steaming hot bath with rose petals and muscle relaxant, before she changed into a lounge wear set that she had requested from her personal tailor.
