A maid named Lindsey walked in, "Sorry mom for interrupting but Sir Hensworth has written a letter asking if you would like to hangout in the library tomorrow for cakes and tea?" Lindsey said. "Oh stop being so polite Lindsey you know where friends." Rane said throwing a pillow at Lindsey. Rane had known Lindsey since she was five when Lindsey's mom moved into the manor to be a baker. Lindsey was a short girl, with freckles and red hair that was like a curly mane. Paired with her green eyes she gave off an innocent vibe that made you want to protect her. "Ok, ok Renny." Lindsey said, hiding her laughter. "But do you want to meet Sir Hensworth?" Lindsey asked. "Of course he's my friend. Please do tell him to meet at noon. Also Lins let's go out to get some sweets later today, do you want to?" Rane asked while calling Lindsey her nickname, Lins. "Of course! How could I say no to sweets."
Lindsey chimed with an excited expression. "It's a date at seven o' clock we shall meet good sir." Rane said in an overly sweet femine voice. "Of course my lady" Lindsey said in a male voice, and they both laughed. "Wells see you Lins." Rane said. "Bye Renny." Lindsey said turning and leaving the room. The whole time though, Hennrick had to awkwardly sit there and watch as Rane spoke to her best friend and try not to interfere. "You too sure get along." Hennrick said awkwardly. "I guess we do." Rane said with a smirk on her face. "Well I'll get going, tell me if you need anything Renny." Hennrick said, turning towards the door. "Yes Sir." Rane said with a salute and watched as Hennrick left the room.
After Hennrick left Rane spent most of her day thinking about what she remembered from Angel Uriel. It confused her when he said that there was someone who could balance her out. She was usually calm, intelligent, and independent so the only way someone could balance her out if they were dumb, crazy, and a hothead which was not someone who she wanted to meet. She also remembered the vague feeling of absolute power she felt, when she was one with Angel Uriel. It was like a forbidden fruit that she had a taste of but was now addicted. It was a maddening feeling that somewhat scared her. To keep herself from going down the rabbit hole of fear, Rane decided to put on a movie. Time flew and as soon as she looked up it was time to get ready to go to the bakery with Lindsey.
So she went into her closet and put on an outfit. She decided on a light blue cardigan with some jeans, and paired it with the necklace Sydney got her. "I have to wear someday" Rane said to herself while she put the necklace on.Realizing that it was nearly time to go Rane raced downstairs to try and catch a hold of Lindsey. When she ran down she actually ran head first into a man wrapped in a whit cloak. "Oh sorry sir." Rane said with a quick bow, then quickly ran downstairs. "So that is the one who is the child of Angel Uriel." The man in the cloak said quietly watch continue to run downstairs.
Rane soon ran into Lindsey who was on her way upstairs to find Rane. "So shall we gotta Mistletoe." Lindsey said referring to a popular bakery that was located in ChinaTown, a place with some of the best delicacies in the land. "Absolutely!" Rane said in a smile and reached her hand out for Lindsey to hold. Taking Rane's hand Lindsey and Rane continued their way to the train. However before they could reach their destination the pair rane into Mother, who was busy designing the hallway with the help of a carpenter. "Ah, Rane. I was about to go tell you that you have school tomorrow at the chapel. Your break is finally over." Mother said with a sigh, relieved that her daughter would continue her studies. "Oh and hello Lindsey dear." Mother said, finally noticing Lindsey. "Hello Mrs. Rose'' Lindsey said with a polite nod. "Of course Mother, and we're going to mistletoe so, we shall be back by ten o' clock at the latest." Rane said quietly, waiting to go to the train.
"Ok have fun dear. Remember to take a guard. You're just 13." Mother said before waving the girls off. While waving back the girls ran off to go to the train. When they arrived they quickly linked the security team to a guard until they finally were able to take off on the train. "Oh I can't wait too arrive." Lindsey said imagining all the things she would get. "Me too!" Rane chimed with a happy smile. "I'm looking forward to getting Tears of a Unicorn." Rane said, referring to a drink that was quite popular. "I'm craving brittle cakes, and honey." Lindsey said practically salivating. Just when the two girls were getting lost in the thought of what they were going to get they arrived at ChinaTown. "Miss, please do not run too far ahead of me ,but I shall watch you from a distance." The guard said politely helping the girls onto the station. "Of course, now we shall get moving." Rane said, pulling at Lindsey's arm.
