Chapter 1
One hundred and thirteen years ago I was looking down at all of my friends playing while I felt like a prisoner up in my tower. Dreading all of my new responsibilities that came with being the Avatar. But now I am with the girl of my dreams, and helping the people who need me. Life hasn't changed drastically since I "defeated" The Firelord six months ago. Katara, Sokka, Toph, Zuko, Sukki, and I all helped restore and brought peace to the world and Katara and I are as happy as ever. But...
"Aang?" Katara said. "Oh sorry I dozed off there for a second." "It's okay, I just wanted to say we should probably get going or Sokkas going to be angry. Katara responded. I grab her hand and we hurry outside. "Where have you guys been, we were supposed to leave 20 minutes ago we have to stay on schedule! Sokka hollered. "Well we're here now!" Katara yelled back leaving Sokka with an angry expression. We all jump on Appa and get ready for the long journey to The Fire Nation.
A few hours later
"Aang, you awake?" I look over my shoulder to see Katara glancing up at me. "Yeah!" I said. She still looked tired after flying all day and part of the night but she cautiously got up trying not to wake up Sokka. She sat down next me and gave me a little peck on the cheek before laying her head down on my shoulder. We sat there for an hour or two just looking at the stars and the land below.
"Hey Aang, do you want me to fly Appa so you can get some rest?" Sokka said, startling me and Katara who quickly took her head off my shoulder. Yeah I'm pretty tired." Sokka starts walking up to me and Katara and we head back to the saddle to get some rest. I lay down and Katara cautiously laid her head down next me so Sokka wouldn't see.
Another few hours later
"Fire Nation here we come!" Sokka shouted startlingly Katara and I as we slowly got up to check our surroundings. We slowly start to land next to the Fire Nation Temple where a man awaits below. "Hello there, I am Lee and you must be Team Avatar very nice to meet you all!" The man said as I helped Katara off of Appa and we waited for the man's instructions. "Avatar Aang very nice to meet you!" The man said while shaking my hand. "Master Katara!" He said while kissing her hand which granted him a dirty look from me. "And Warrior Sokka, Firelord Zuko is waiting for you in his throne room let me show you the way!"
We start walking into the temple and Katara glances over at me. "Wow so this Lee guy huh?" Katara whispered while smirking at me. "Well he's gonna get a piece of me if he tries anything else." "Don't worry I wouldn't trade you for anyone." Katara said while giving me a small kiss on the cheek. "Firelord Zuko your guests have arrived." Lee said while bowing down. "Thank you Lee you are dismissed." Zuko said. Lee starts to leave but not before shooting a flirty glance at Katara. "Guys I have so bad news." Zuko said nervously. "Mai is missing"
