Third person P.O.V
It has been a full year since the fire lords defeat, Aang and Katara had been together for the whole time, But {Y/N} still wasn't able to find a way to tell their feelings to Zuko, despite how painfully obvious they made it.
"Sometimes Boy's are just oblivious," Katara said, attempting to reassure the female Airbender
"Or just really stupid," Toph added, earning a side glare from Katara, which she of course, didn't notice
"Okay but, I have been dropping hints since I first met him...That was like two years ago!" {Y/N} said, throwing their arms up in exasperation
"If he's been that obvious for that long, Maybe you're dodging a bullet," Toph said and this time received a light punch of the arm from Katara
"I'm sure everything will turn out fine, {Y/N}," Katara said to help reassure them, and {Y/N} looked to Katara, Hugging the water bender, Katara pulling toph into the hug as well, much to Togo's displeasure of affection, but Toph would never tell that she secretly liked it
At the same time, Aang, Sokka and Zuko were talking as well
"I don't know what I would even say. What do you say when you want to tell someone you like them?" Zuko asked, pacing around the throne room, Aang and Sokka watching him as he walked back and forth
"You just got to come out an tell her, It's not that hard to do," Aang said, giving a smile, and Sokka looked to the grey-eyes boy
"Didn't it take you close to a year to confess to Katara?" Sokka asked teasingly, Aang blushing profusely, rubbing the back of his head
"But Me and {Y/N} haven't spent as much time together as Katara and Aang have, so what if I just make it weird?" Zuko said, continuing to pace around
"Trust me Zuko, there is no way you could make it weird," Sokka said, everyone knowing about {Y/N}'s crush on Zuko, except for Zuko himself
"How can you be so sure?" Zuko asked, looking to the male water tribe member, and Sokka shrugged
"I don't know, but I think you should decide quickly because {Y/N} and the other two have returned," Sokka stated, pointing to the group that had just entered the room, {Y/N} immediately going up to Zuko, Katara and toph taking seats beside Aang and Sokka, all of them want to watch what was going to happen, or in toph's case, hear what was going to happen
"Did you two talk to him?" Katara whispered to the two, and they both gave shrugs
"We tried, but he is really oblivious to every hint we gave," Sokka said, Toph snickering, attempting a fist-bump with Sokka, as {Y/N} and Zuko conversed, each one blushing like a third grader with their first crush, but both absolutely oblivious to the other
It had only been a minute of the two talking until Toph decided to push the two in the right direction, and by that, Toph used her earth bending to move the two closer together, their faces ending up only inches apart, both of their faces going red like tomatoes
Zuko was about to move away from {Y/N} and apologize, him thinking they didn't have feelings for him as he did for them, only for him to feel the others lips meet his, until they pulled away, and hid their face in his chest
"Sorry, I just..." {Y/N} started, their voice only loud enough for Zuko to hear, "I have been wanting to do that for a while"
Zuko gave a soft smile, wrapping his arms around them, his hand going under their chin to lift it up, and placing a soft kiss of their forehead
"Then I hope you won't mind doing it again," He said, and they smiled
Sokka, Aang, Toph and Katara all silently celebrating in the background, while the two new lovers hugged in the warm sunset
