And the fire lord was Li, who helped his uncle run the tea shop your mentor brought you to one day, and you had never stopped visiting before the fire nation broke the wall and took over

However, In the short time of talking to 'Li' and his uncle, {Y/N} had found that they'd fallen for the boy with the scar and sword skills, and after a while, a few hours before everything had crumbled before {Y/N}'s eyes, They had confessed how they felt, fully expecting harsh words of rejection, and even harsher words of Lee saying not to talk to him again, as {Y/N} stood there, They saw the moment playing in their head again

"Li, I know this is sudden, and probably really catching you off guard, but," They had taken a deep breath in, mentally getting ready for what was to come, and in a single breath, spoke, "I think I like you in more than a friendship way"
