Tawny hair frames your face,
Blue eyes tell the story of the ocean.
Pale skin reddens as you share your burdens.
Anger flees the room as sadness takes her place
And the flowers loose their bloom.
Yearning, you lean in close,
Lapis looks up at me, and I turn to stone.Copper strands grasp my throat, and my knees hit the ground.
I look up at you, and you still continue to frown
My dear, listen here, anger is making sure that you drown,
Let me go, listen though, my thoughts might let you down.
I promise, with every part of my soul, I'll pick your heart up off the ground,
and with every bit of mine, I'll make sure it's not forgotten.Your body drops, and your grip loosens.
Wailing I take you into my arms, hush, I'm ready to listen.
Yelling amber answers, exploiting your monochromatic vision.
Feet numb, knees weak, I begin to see.
Silent words and violent eyes bleed into meRed fills the room and blue turns grey
The monument breaks down.
Soft skin turns to coal
To which fuels the fire ignited in your core.
Step back. Please, you're forgetting to keep control.
Soft eyes go black and so does your soul.I cower down and you tower over me
I lost this game, from amber answers
To ammunition.
Bullets in my chest, I give up
I just wanted to save you
And you let me down
