Hey guys, school would be opening on Monday so I will be updating during the weekends or my free time. I have to focus on my studies especially chemistry which I'm struggling with so wattpad can come second in my life.

I will try my best to update at least twice a week and make the chapters long.

Love y'all
-Akachi.

Ire walked out of the office with me running after him.

"Ire, I can explain" I said trying to keep up my pace with him. He stopped making me hit my head on his back.

"Do you know that this is an office complex not a ball room?" He asked. He was clenching his fists.

"I'm sorry" I answered not knowing what else to say.

"Do you like him?" The question caught me off guard.

"Mike is just my friend so I like him like a friend"

"I hope you maintain your relationship that was cause we don't allow anything that will lead to marriage in this company" He said. Well, I never knew that not until now.

The car ride was silence, a comfortable one.

"Let's get you something tomeat" He said.

"I'm not hugry" I replied and that was the moment my stomach had to betray me with its stupid noise.

"Of course, you are not" He said, the sarcasm obvious. "You haven't eaten anything today"

"How do you know that?" I asked.

"I have ways. By the way I ordered some food for you and stella"

"Why?"

"Because its late and I don't want you stressing yourself cooking"

"Thanks" At least I'm happy I don't get to waste my little energy.

"Anything for you sunshine" He replied

Sunshine?

I've heard that word before but can't remember, maybe just my imagination.

"I really want to apologise for what happened between I and Mike, I promise it won't ever repeat itself"

"I know it won't, I trust you on that" He replied

God, please don't let me break his trust.

His phone rang, I looked at it secretly, it was his mom.

"Your phone is ringing" I said.

"It's my mom, I don't need to pick it" He turned the car to the right and we were met up with the normal Nigerian holdup.

"Why?" I asked to keep the conversation going.

"It will end up with her birthday keyring of how I need to get married"

"Wow, then get married"

"It wish I can right now, the only problem is that the lady I like can't see that I like her even though I've been giving her greenlights" He replied.

"Then tell her you like her"

"I also wish that, but she would either run or start avoiding me so I have to maintain my friendship level with her for now"

"What's her name?" I asked hoping I can be of help.

"Sunshine, she is my sunshine" He replied grinning.
