I walked out of my room, well suited up and tie worn high neck though I didn't personally like it.
I'm not the type who would dress up formally for office works but I had to since father insisted I do on my first day.
He wanted me to be presentable.
*Sighs*
I haven't even looked through my proforma. I wonder what position they've made vacant for me.
I hope it's not something lame.
As I step out of my house I spot my car waiting for me with my driver at the Porsche. My driver got down and bowed at me.
I smiled with utmost disinterest and headed on to sit inside as we started off. To the company headquarters I always have hated.
I did hear about that company's cheap tricks and underground connections but I never imagined I would be watching all of that upfront.
I kept battling whether the decision I took was a liable one. Never had I once regretted my decisions but this one made me shake my belief.
Should I even spend my potential for dealing with a thing like this? And dealing with a woman like her? Huh!
Just then my phone rang,
"Hello, dad, I'm on my way"
"Son, you know that I'm not pushing it on you, don't you?"
"Uh no dad, not at all"
"Good. This is all for the sake of your future and ours son" "We built this dream and just letting it go like nothing is like I've lived for nothing"
I froze at his words. I didn't think he was this serious and emotional about getting back those shares. It hurt me deep.
"Dad, just consider this done. I will never let you or your dreams come down anytime"
"I'm proud of you, make sure you take care yourself at all times. Be safe my son. Appa loves you"
I smiled and reassured him but I saw something on the way that caught my attention whilst the call.
"Dad I'll call you later" I abruptly cut the call and leaned forward to stare into the side street that passed by.
A group of boys bullying a tiny girl. It looked scary. I was worried if they will hurt her physically, it seemed like they were about to hit her.
"Hyung stop the car"
The moment it pulled off I opened the door and ran to the side street a few metres away.
Hurriedly I went there only to see the girl lying down with the boys surrounding her ready to hit her.
I couldn't make out her face since she had it draped well inside a scarf that only exposed her eyes. I knew she looked scared and relieved after seeing me.
A sudden rush of enthusiasm filled me in after I saw her expression. I wanted to save her badly. Atleast for the trust she laid on a stranger.
"Yah! What do you think your doing? Back off"
I pushed one of them away and probably triggered all of them.
The whole gang now wound up around me.
"Who do you think you are? Acting like a hero? Do you know who she is"
I was furiated and glared back at him, "Ill report if you don't back off. Better run before I do this for real" I said and went up close near the bully leader.
Everyone laughed maniacally.
"Do you even know who you're putting into trouble if you report?" Said one of them and giggled teasing me.
I held in my anger but this was it, I couldn't hold in any longer and my fist got stronger. Before anymore talking I swung my fist right through the leader's face making him fall away. Everyone was shocked and so was the girl.
"Please please leave this alone. Go away from here" she said and held my hand.
I pulled her behind me and glared at them, "Now who's next?"
"You don't know what your doing. Don't try to save her" said the guy with long hair.
"Please, let's stop this, go away" she said but I smirked and stepped forward confidently.
I took another step and the others ran away out of fear.
Feeling accomplished I turned to her and smiled, "Your safe now, go back home before they come again"
She looked intensely at me but I couldn't quite make out what she was feeling.

I frowned and smiled again, brightly this time.
She pulled off her scarf and revealed her annoyed face glaring right at me. I stood stoned after I saw who she was.
