"Who the hell are you?"
She spat after a cool breeze hit us through that narrow space.

I stepped back in hesitation about how close we stood facing each other. I gulped I could literally feel her breath on my neck.

She continued to glare but I liked her eyes, deep and sorrowful.

"I saved you" I mumbled consciously.

She grabbed my shirt neck digging her finger within. Her nails scratched my chest skin and the pull tore a few buttons up till my cleavage was seen.

"No one can save me. People should be saved from me. This was my plan to catch their leader and here you idiot step in just to show off your useless heroism"

I felt humiliated and my pride ran a headstart before my brain.

"I wouldn't have saved you if I knew it was you" I spit fire and yanked her hands off my shirt.

She smiled wickedly and checked her nails.
"What a pity, that like any other man you also will be under my feet in no time"

I glared at her after adjusting my shirt.

"In your dreams" I said and stepped closer to her "I'll crush your arrogance and burn it down to ashes"

She smirked and stepped away,
"Good luck"

She walked away showing her back to me. I looked at her and back at my shirt that was ripped off.

My first meeting with the woman I never liked but always felt some pull towards. Not so smooth, it'll maybe get more hotter in the future. Though I shouldn't forget what I came here for.

*Sighs*

------------

Company quarters welcomed me. My car had to travel an extra 1km inside to reach the actual building.

When I entered i was not welcomed inside as an employee but like any random sales person.

"Hello, I'm an employee here. Newly recruited if you didn't know"

I said sternly. The man scanned me head to toe and gave a cheap look.

"You? You look like a piece of rag. What's with the torn shirt and messed hair on your first day" he asked making me realise I did look untidy.

The commotion I went through that morning made me look like a pitiful homeless.

"Listen Mr... Jake, this wasn't my choice to walk in with such a look. Your CEO is responsible for this" I spat back and sighed.

"Our CEO? Dare you talk about her like that" he raised his volume.

"Some fun going on here?" cheesy voice of a woman echoed cutting off both our thoughts.

I turned and looked at the same lady but walk in a totally different attire from what I saw in the morning.

"You even changed your outfit, not bad" I commented and then felt the hot gaze of all her subordinates pierce me.

'was I rude?' I paused at my own self.

"Come to my office" she mumbled and walked away.

I was a little taken back at how silently scary she was. I followed her ready to face whatever is waiting for me. But to the contrary an unexpected thing took place.

"So, where are you from?" She sat in her official seat and glared at her nails.

I felt like an indifferent show piece standing in front of her.

"Like you don't know where I come from. You must've searched and researched about me before I came here, haven't you"

She switched glares at me and smiled suddenly.

"I really like your honesty Mr. Kook" she got up from her chair and walked to me "but it doesn't work here"

"Huh, I thought this company isn't something so dictatorial, but now I realise it's actually you who's making it such" I snapped and smirked.

Her smile faded like it wasn't there at all and she walked closer to me, close enough to lean on my body and tiptoed to reach my ear.

Her hand winded up my neck and grabbed me closer,
"I know you look handsome, but it doesn't allow you to walk half shirtless in my office"

She whispered in my ears and pulled back. The most unbelievable part was my legs were stiff and my heart pounded at her closeness. Some different vibe she gave me everytime she came closer.

"So, get out. Ah! You froze. Just like any other men" she sarcastically mumbled and turned around but I reflexed caught her wrist and turned her around making her bump into me. My hands held her waist and I looked into her eyes directly.

"Listen Lee Ji Sun-shi, I might look easy going but I also know how to play hard to get"

Her gaze was sharply striking mine as I leaned forward and touched my nose in her ear,

"It's a challenge for you,
Try not to fall for me if you can"

"It's a challenge for you, Try not to fall for me if you can"
