Startled she woke up to see her alarm hadn't rung that day. Her eyes widened in shock when she saw the time.
10:40 am.
'What the hell' she smacked the alarm clock harshly on the table and rushed to the washroom. Half ready she jogged down the stairs and grabbed a chunk of sandwich from last night along side a huge glass of milk from the freezer.
'First day of work after a break and this is how I present. I'm screwed' she thought as she hurriedly grabbed her bag and headed out.
"I don't think you'll be" a voice called over from behind her just when she bent down to snuck her leg inside her shoe.
"Taehyung, I forgot that I'm supposed to report today. My leave is over officially today. I forgot" she ranted and stuffed her other leg in the opposite shoe hastily.
"Uh...Jisun your the vice CEO of the company. Don't worry about being late from a sick leave" he tied her lace carefully "and by the way I don't see a problem in being late when the CEO himself is chilling with a woman in the lobby" he added and gestured at the lobby.
Jungkook was sitting on a chair, drinking his morning coffee but Claire wasn't resisting herself from falling on him and touching him every time she spoke.
Jisun's heart and eyes burned at their sight and her breath shuddered.
"Taehyung" she gritted her teeth her eyes still fixed at the two.
"Hm?"
"I want to leave"
He saw her eyes and asked for a confirmation.
"Are you sure?"
She looked at the two again and turned back to him determinedly,
"Yes. The sooner the better"
He smiled and held her hand,
"Sure. Drop off home early from work then. Not here. My home. I have something to show you"
She nodded and flashed a tiny smile before heading out in a rush.
"Claire, aren't you being too touchy around me?" Jungkook asked after seeing her rub his feet playfully sitting opposite him.
"Not at all" she said excitedly.
Jungkook sighed helplessly.
"You know maybe you should try and control yourself in front of Jisun at least" Taehyung came in walking as he spoke and leaned on the door.
"Control?" Jungkook scoffed "who's talking about control after becoming so close with a woman who is love with someone else"
"Was" Taehyung corrected "past tense"
Claire grew silent and witnesses their conversation with utmost focus.
Jungkook got up from his seat,
"Did she ever tell you that she doesn't love me anymore? Or that she stopped loving me? Then what's your stand?"
Taehyung gritted his teeth but exhaled and calmed down.
"I don't have to prove it to you cause your long gone in her heart. Soon she'll move on and I'll see to that" Taehyung challenged and strolled out.
Jungkook stood glaring at him but quickly got distracted when Claire was unusually silent near him. She looked at him with a disappointed look.
"So it was jisun unnie right?" She spoke, her breath trembling slightly.
Jungkook kept mum and saw her change. She now stood teary eyed making him puzzled. He frowned and reached out but she stepped back and ran into her room.
He sighed deeply and jogged after to talk to her.

Jisun was steadily working for a 6 hours straight without even taking a break.
