a few months later it was now springtime and the flowers all bloomed in the gardens it was a beautiful sight especially the little plot of flowers around Royal's burial site and not too long ago you and Leona had his death anniversary you were very emotional he was the first child you ever lost and it hurt so much but upon Zora's birth that wound gradually healed speaking of Zora she was now 3 months old and it seemed every day she looked like her father more and more things were going good In terms of managing the kingdom although it did get hard at times especially while having three children but you had Leona always he was there as your husband and king.

it was a breezy day not too windy the sun was shining and the town was bustling joyfully you were happy to see it but it seems a bit much you went through town earlier and saw many people making posters of sorts along with many girls preparing bouquets of flowers you wondered if there was an event you didn't know about but you just brushed it off as you didn't mind you were happy to see your subjects happy currently you were inside playing with Zora and Kokoa while Leona had to go meet with Rook and watch the changing of the guard also he helped to train them sometimes although Rook had it handled as for Epel he was helping Cheka keep up with his studies he was learning to write in cursive today and he was doing well although It was messy but that's to be expected 

you were in the nursery with the children playing with them both but Kokoa was trying to take all your attention he was a bit jealous of his sister but Zora soon fell asleep and you picked her up taking her over to the bassinet and you kissed her cheek before setting her down gently then you picked up Kokoa taking him out the room and just as you descended the stairs one of the guards came and bowed "my queen you have a visitor"

you gave a nod "alright thank you"

you went down the rest of the stairs and you went to put Kokoa in his baby chair before going to the front doors and the guards opened it before standing aside and you gasped seeing an all so familiar face Neige Leblanche and he smiled sweetly bowing to you "Hello (Y/n)"

you smiled "Neige! It's so good to see you"

Neige smiled "Indeed I'm so happy to see you! I've wanted to come visit but I've been busy" and you both hugged before taking him over to sit and you had the servants bring out the tea you served him some before yourself 

he smiled "It was a little shocking to hear you'd become queen"

you smiled "yes I was unprepared but It's been good after all I have the support of my husband"

Neige gasped "oh my! you're married"

you nodded "mhm I met him right after I transferred to Night Raven College"

Neige smiled "that's wonderful who is he"

you smiled "Leona Kingscholar"

Neige nodded "oh right I've heard of him before he's the Prince of Afterglow Savanah"

you sipped your tea but then Kokoa started to fuss and cry a bit so you took him out the baby chair and upon seeing him Neige gasped and his eyes sparkled "he's so adorable!"

you smiled "thank you this is my son Kokoa"

Neige smiled "that's so lovely may I hold him"

you nodded handing him over to Neige whom smiled and rocked Kokoa "he's so sweet hello little one..."

Kokoa smiled and clapped his hands before Neige stroked his ears but just then you heard a yawn you turned to see Leona and he came over kissing your forehead 

"hey love who's our guest"

you smiled "this is Neige Leblanche he's an old friend of mine from Royal Sword Academy"

Neige stood up and bowed "Hello your majesty It's good to meet you"

Leona smirked "oh yeah I remember you from those commercials years ago you went to Royal Sword right"

Neige smiled and sat down "yes I still do those but I have a pop singing career now"

Leona sat down and poured himself a cup of tea before Neige gently handed Kokoa back to you but then you heard crying from upstairs you knew it was Zora so you got up going to the nursery 

Leona rested his chin on his hand "so...Leblanche you were friends with (Y/n) at Royal Sword"

Neige smiled "yes we had good times together with my other friends seeing her today made me remember those times she's more beautiful and kind as ever"

Leona got a hint of jealousy but he just cleared his throat "I see and you mean the dwarves right"

Neige smiled "yes Dominic, Gran, Shelpy, Hop, Timmy, Snick and Toby"

Leona nodded "right...right they're now In the mining business"

Neige nodded "yes and I go to help them out sometimes especially Toby he still needs a bit of guidance"

you came back downstairs with Zora and Kokoa going back to sit down and Leona kissed you before taking Kokoa and Neige gasped "you have a girl too!"

you smiled "you can hold her if you want"

Neige carefully took Zora and he smiled "aww...she's so beautiful what a little darling"

Leona crossed his arms "your pretty good with babies huh"

Neige smiled "yes I love children their so sweet although babies just naturally get attached to me"

he giggled and Leona sighed *It's that girlish face of yours didn't grow out of it I see*

Neige smiled and bounced Zora "what a sweet little princess"

Leona put his arm around you and you could feel he was growling low which made you giggle and roll your eyes knowing he was jealous but there wasn't anything to be jealous about you and Neige were longtime friends though you always knew Neige had a crush on you but you could never returned his feelings years ago as you only loved him like a brother 

Neige then realized "oh I forgot how's Vi by the way"

you silently gasped knowing he meant Vil but you sighed "he...well..."

Leona interjected "you just missed him he left awhile ago"

Neige nodded "oh alright I wanted to catch up with him but maybe next time"

you sighed sadly and looked down whenever Vil was mentioned it was hard to think about for you and Leona both it was now a taboo 

Neige cocked his head "are you alright you both got sad all of a sudden"

you came out your thoughts and smiled "yes don't worry"

Neige smiled and stood up "it was wonderful talking with you again and meeting his majesty but I have to excuse myself now I have to meet up with Hop and Timmy"

he gently pecked Zora's cheek before handing her back to you then he bowed before going to the doors and you both went to see him off

you hugged Neige "give Hop and Timmy my regards as well as the others"

Neige smiled and patted your back before you broke the hug and he shook hands with Leona before he descended the stairs as the limo pulled up and you waved at him before he got into it and it drove off leaving out the gate 

you smiled "It was lovely to see him I've wanted to contact him for some time now"

Leona crossed his arms "I see he's quite popular and not just worldwide"

you turned to Leona "dear...don't be like that I know you too well don't deny it you're jealous of Neige" he huffed and grumbled but you giggled and got on your tip toes kissing his lips 

you smiled "oh come now you're the only one in my heart and you know It"

Leona started to smile and he put his arm around your waist bringing you into a kiss and you kissed back before he smiled lovingly "I'm king of you're heart right"

you smiled warmly "always"

 he kissed your cheek before you turned going back inside.
