Great things Chap.18

one year later....

Kokoa was finally one years old and Cheka turned six years old so he was now ready for a tutor and you hired nonother than your good friend Epel Felmier with the official position of royal tutor though he was a bit skeptical at first he soon accepted and was a great teacher also good with children since he and Rook had plans to soon adopt a child and speaking of Rook you appointed him captain of the guard which he greatly accepted the honor but tearfully as for you things were going smoothly in the kingdom and Leona got Afterglow Savannah stable appointing a temporary king for now and that king was Jack Howl whom he trusted greatly to make the right decisions and keep the homeland safe but joyous and great things were happening for you and Leona because at present you were 6 months pregnant with a girl.

you were sitting outside in the gardens watching Kokoa play with Leona at your side but then you reached down into your basket picking up your sewing as you were making a pair of socks for your daughter and you were almost finished 

Leona leaned over taking a look "sewing again love"

you smiled "of course It's a hobby I've come to enjoy and besides I'm making these for our daughter"

Leona smiled before he rubbed your baby bump "yeah...our little princess"

just then Kokoa ran over hugging your leg and you looked down "  what's the matter honey"

Kokoa wiggled his ears before making noises and you smiled before setting down your needlework to pick him up and he giggled before hugging your stomach and you patted his head before Leona took him onto his lap before putting your head on Leona's shoulder and he put his arm around you letting out a sigh 

he smiled "my love have I told you lately how much I love you"

you smiled warmly and looked up at him before kissing but then Kokoa started to whine and get out of Leona's hold going over to you and you rubbed his back "there...there"

Kokoa soon calmed down and you stroked his ears which made him let out a yawn as he started to get sleepy so you stood up rocking him and you smiled "I suppose It's nap time"

Leona then yawned "no kidding..."

you giggled and watched as Leona then laid down on the cushioned bench putting his arms behind his head closing his eyes and within three seconds he was asleep so you leaned down kissing his cheek before quietly going back inside to put Kokoa down in his bassinet which he would soon trade it for a bed so his little sister could use it 

you gently put him down before putting the blanket over him and you kissed his cheek before quietly leaving the nursery and you walked down the hallway to go check on Cheka to see how his lessons were going so you went to his bedroom which was just finished

you opened the door looking in and upon seeing you Cheka smiled before running over and he hugged your waist as he was taller now no longer hugging your leg

he smiled "mommy!"

you smiled and stroked his head "hello sweetie I just came to see how your lessons are going"

Cheka held onto your hand "mommy I drew a picture of all of us!"

he then went over to his desk and brought over a paper holding it up for you to see and you took it into your hands and you smiled warmly looking at the adorable picture of your family 

"aww...thank you Cheka"

Cheka smiled brightly and you bent down kissing his forehead but then he hugged you again and nuzzled your baby bump "I can't wait to meet Little sister"

Epel came over "master Cheka is doing very good he's understanding very well "

you smiled "thank you Epel by the way Rook wanted me to relay to you he'd be busy with patrols later"

he nodded "thank you alright come master Cheka we aren't finished"

Cheka gave you one last hug before he went back over to his work desk and you waved at them both before leaving the room and you left going to your bedroom so you could have a rest and as you laid in bed you rubbed your stomach which had grown more  you were excited to have a daughter especially after what previously happened last year with your son Royal and this helped you heal in a way from that

you smiled "your father and brothers can't wait to meet you...but It'll just be a few months more before you're here"

just then the door opened and you looked to see Leona and he came over getting on the bed before he brought you into his arms and you cuddled he ran his hand through your hair which had grown back and was long again he then peppered your face with kisses and you giggled but then as you were about to speak he cut you off my kissing you

you kissed back "dear I don't mind but what's with the extra affection today"

he smirked "nothing I'm just loving my queen"

you smiled before he then put his head on your stomach and he listened "I can hear her heartbeat...I know she'll be beautiful like you"

you smiled "thank you dear" he then came back up "It's an amazing thing our family's getting bigger"

you nodded "yes it's not just going to be Kokoa and Cheka around here "

he smiled "yeah...by the way have you come up with a name for her yet"

you smiled "yes and it's a very nice one but I won't tell you until It's time"

he nodded before pulling you closer and you rested your head on his chest closing your eyes.
