Mother's Day Chap.22

five months later....

Zora had started crawling also developing her babble further while Kokoa started running all over the place now that he was fully used to walking Leona had his fair share of trouble keeping up with him Cheka was growing up nicely he had already surpassed the teaching Epel gave him which was a shock as he was only six years old but Leona told you he's got his father's genius you however started feeling Indisposed and sick as of late it was like headache sick It wasn't serious but Leona urged you to have some bed rest for awhile so you complied also saddened as Mother's Day was coming up and you wouldn't be around for it or the celebrations In town you hated letting your subjects down but most Importantly your family.

It was the morning of mother's day the sun shone through the curtains you slowly sat up looking out at the balcony it seemed to be a beautiful day you smiled before laying back down you couldn't do much lately as you've been sick it worried you as Leona had to handle all three of the children by himself but you trusted him greatly knowing he could handle it

you sighed but just then there was a knock on the door you sat up "yes come in"

the door opened to reveal Leona holding a bouquet of flowers along with Zora In his arms just then Kokoa ran into the room over to the bed reaching up "mama!...mama!"

you smiled and picked him up before kissing his cheek "hello sweetheart"

Leona came over getting on one knee presenting the flowers to you "For my beautiful queen love of my life and mother of my children"

you smiled warmly taking the flowers "aww thank you dear"

he smiled and stood up before cupping your cheek In a kiss "how're you feeling today love"

you sighed "my headache's gone away I'm much better now"

he handed Zora to you and you smiled "hello my darling"

Zora smiled "Gah!...Gah!"

you giggled before kissing her cheek but then you looked around "where's Cheka"

Leona smiled gesturing over to the door and Cheka soon ran in holding a tray being careful not to drop it before he smiled brightly "Happy Mother's Day Mommy!"

you smiled "thank you honey"

Leona took the tray from him setting it on the bed to see a lovely breakfast comprised of eggs, bacon and pancakes you then started to tear up a bit before starting to eat and when finished Leona set the tray onto the table you had one of the servants bring a water filled vase for the flowers having it set next to the bed before Leona laid down next to you with the children following suite you held them all close

you smiled "thank you for this...I love you all so much"

 a few tears streaked down your cheeks and Leona kissed them away "there's nothing to thank my love you're an incredible mother to our children but most of all mother of our kingdom"

you smiled warmly as he cupped your face wiping the remaining tears away before you kissed and just then you looked to see Kokoa playing with his tail biting it

you giggled "no...no Kokoa"

he looked up giving you a toothy grin he had grown some more teeth recently you kissed his forehead before Leona brought his arms around you all holding you close.
