The Birth Chap.8

all the preparations had been made and the nursery for your son was finished all that was left was to welcome him into the world you and Leona were both so excited  you were laying In bed you had just changed Into your nightgown and the royal doctor came just In time but Leona wasn't going to leave your side that easily and he was trying to stay In the room but the doctor said no and you looked over at Leona taking his hand In yours 

you smiled warmly "Dear please don't worry I'll be fine"

Leona looked at you then he let out a sigh holding your hand back "Oh alright...I'll go wait" he then leaned down and you both hugged before kissing and he left out the room going to wait Leona  then  sat down putting his hands together and back In the room you started to feel a bit scared now that Leona wasn't in the room anymore but then you started to feel a large pain and you cried out In pain you were now going Into labor right on time and the doctor put on her gloves getting ready 

"Alright your majesty it's time to have your son please keep calm and take deep breaths"

you nodded but then as the pain got more intense you started to cry and you threw your head back "I...I can't...I..I can't"

the doctor held your hand "Yes you can It'll be fine I promise now take a deep breath and push"

you looked over with watery eyes and nodded then you did as told taking a deep breath proceeding to push with all your strength "Gahhhh!!!!"

outside the door Leona had his ear to the door and hearing your cries made him want to burst In there but he had to stay out for now back inside you had just done another push and you laid back panting as sweat covered your forehead 

tears streamed down your face "I..I can't I..It's hurts too much..p..please send my husband In"

the doctor quicky ran over to the door and opened it telling Leona to come in and he ran to your side holding your hand "I'm here love It's alright" he then kissed your cheek "You can do this"

you smiled weakly then took a deep breath pushing hard and as you did so you held Leona's hand tight and your whole body shook then you fell back breathing hard and you looked over at Leona and the doctor handed him a cloth to wipe your forehead 

the doctor checked Under the blanket "the head is out just one more big push alright"

you nodded "o..okay" you took a deep breath and pushed "GAHHHHHH!!!!!"

you threw your head back panting but then you heard the sounds of a baby and smile came to your face with tears in your eyes Leona helped you sit up and you gasped seeing your little baby boy the doctor cleaned him up and dressed him 

"Here you are" the doctor gently handed him to you and tears streaked down your cheeks and you held him close to you kissing his forehead "Oh my..my son..."

a tear came out Leona's eye and he wrapped his arms around you both but then you felt that he was shaking and you brushed his bangs from his eyes to see that he was crying and you smiled warmly kissing his cheek then he wiped his eyes looking at your son and you awed seeing that he had little ears on his head and a tail 

"He's a handsome little guy"

you smiled "just like his father"

Leona nuzzled your cheek "so how about his name"

you smiled "his name will be Kokoa...Kokoa Kingscholar"

Leona smiled "I like it that's a great name"

you then handed Kokoa to him so he could hold him and Leona knew how to hold babies since Cheka was born and he took Kokoa Into his arms with a smile "Hey buddy.." Kokoa then opened his eyes they weren't green but brown but then he started to cry and Leona handed him back to you and you soothed him "shh..it's alright Mother's here my baby"

Kokoa started to calm down and then you began to feed him so he'd get the nourishment he needs and after you finished you tried getting out of bed but Leona stopped you

"It's alright I got this please get some rest" he gently took Kokoa taking him to the nursery and you laid down closing your eyes and you Immediately drifted to sleep probably faster than your husband because the birth took a lot out of you and when Leona came back he found you asleep and he smiled coming over sitting at your side and he stroked your hair before planting a kiss on your brow then he got In bed next to you holding you close.

later on you awoke hearing the cries of your son and you got out the bed walking to his nursery and you went over to his bassinet picking him up "shh...it's alright mother's here" you rocked him for a bit and he started to calm down 

you smiled "you're alright my little darling"

just then you heard a yawn and you turned to see Leona walking In the room and he smiled "Hey was that our boy making that noise"

you smiled and looked down at Kokoa and you put him down in his crib as Leona wrapped his arms around you kissing your cheek

"Dear I wonder...what'll he grow up to be"

Leona smiled "well...I thought at first he could be In line for the throne of Afterglow Savanah but he can be who ever he wants he can be..his own king like you taught me"

you smiled warmly and put your hand on his as you both looked down at Kokoa
