Pain Chap.5

you were now 7 months pregnant and your stomach had grown a bit bigger you and Leona were so happy and excited to soon welcome your son into the world but the thing you couldn't stand was the pain and the restless nights where your practice contractions struck 

it was the middle of the night and Leona was sleeping soundly next to you but you couldn't sleep for the pain was keeping you up and it was so bad to the point it made you cry and you turned over carefully getting out of the bed and you had your hand on your stomach rubbing it a bit as you went out and onto your balcony and the stars were out seeing the stars brought back the happy memory of Leona showing you that beautiful night sky In Afterglow Savanah 

you smiled and started to feel a bit better but then another wave of pain hit you but then you felt a pair of hands on your shoulders you knew it was your loving husband Leona yawned "what's the matter love it's late"

you sniffled "I..I know but those practice contractions really hurt and I can't sleep" 

Leona kissed your shoulder and picked you up "Come on I can help" carrying you back inside then he gently laid you back down sitting next to you and he began to rub your stomach in circles and you started to feel better 

"how do you feel now"

you smiled "I feel better but how'd you know what to do"

Leona blushed "I uh....read about it somewhere"

you giggled and then he put his head on your stomach to listen "Hey I can hear his heartbeat"

you smiled "that's good"

just then you felt a kick and you gasped "Leona did you feel that"

Leona looked up and smiled "yeah he's a strong little guy"

Leona then came up and laid next to you bringing you into his arms and he kissed you 

you smiled "I can't wait to meet him....our son"

Leona smiled warmly "Yeah me too"

you started to get a little emotional but they were tears of joy it was still unreal to you because being a mother was your dream and now it was coming true

Leona saw you starting to cry and he wiped your eyes "what's wrong love"

"I..It's nothing I'm just happy we're going to be parents but I am a little nervous because this is a new chapter of our lives" 

Leona cupped your cheek "I'm happy too and don't worry I'll be here always"

you smiled and then you both touched foreheads 

"thank you Dear I love you"

Leona breathed "I love you too" before he drifted off to sleep and you did seconds.
