sleepless nights

Sokka's POV
I went into my car and I hit my head on the steering wheel what was I thinking kissing Toph ugh I'm so stupid I thought, it was already late I better go home I don't want katara or my dad to be worried about me.i turned on the car and I drove home

Toph's POV
I laid down on my bed crying into my pillow I didn't know what to do I loved Sokka but I wasn't going to let my feelings come between him and Suki , what was I thinking kissing him I shouldn't have done that. Then Toph recalled Sokka saying her eyes were beautiful she smiled. Many people told her she had beautiful eyes but hearing it from Sokka gave her butterflies in her tummy. Focus Toph you just fucking kissed your best friend and unfortunately for you he wasn't drunk this time how are you going to face him Toph said to herself she got up then took a shower she changed into her PJs and she tried to fall asleep but it was no use she couldn't stop thinking about what just happened.

Sokka's POV
I entered the house and I saw my dad asleep on the couch with a beer in his hand thanked God he wasn't awake I thought I walked up to my room then my sister barged in  "where the fuck was your ass?" She said angrily"chill I was with Suki" I said" dad has been asking me where you were I texted you you didn't respond" she said" that's because Suki broke my phone" I said pulling my broken phone out to show her "why did she do that" she asked "you know how Suki is she was lecturing me and I was texting someone them she murdered my innocent phone since she couldn't murdered me" I said "haha so funny" she said rolling her eyes" I know right it's a gift " I said smiling at her then she pulled my ear and said next I won't cover for you she said then left the room. I  took off my clothes leaving only my underwear then I started thinking about Toph. Will she ever talk to me again? I wondered, what if Suki finds I thought I needed to talk to someone about it I decided that I would go to Zuko house to talk to him about it. I just hope Toph is okay I don't ever want to hurt her I said to myself. It took me hours before I could sleep but I finally fell asleep.

The next morning
Toph's pov
I heard my alarm beeping then I turned it off I got up and I check my phone is was 8 am then I saw a message from Zuko
Zuko: Hey Toph Azula, Mai, Ty Lee and I are going shopping you should come with us katara and Aang will be there, they're the ones that suggested it

I needed something to take my mind off what happened yesterday

Toph:sure I'll be there were are we meeting and what Time?

Zuko: we'll all meet at the mall at 1:30

Toph:see you there

I didn't get enough sleep so I decided to go back to bed then I set my alarm to wake up me once it was 12:00

Sokka POV
My sister came into waking"get up sleepy head" she said "go away katara" I said "Suki is here" she said  what?! I said as I fell from my bed I'm just kidding katara said laughing at me "not cool katara" I said getting " it's 11 am you should get ready were going shopping around 1:30" katara said"great I need a new phone" I responded then she left my room I still wanted to talk to Zuko so I started getting ready so I could talk to Zuko before going shopping.
I went into the bathroom and i brushed my teeth and took a shower I got out and I put some clothes on then I didn't feel like taking my car so i just asked katara to call an Uber for me.
