Kara. Lena breathes. Oh my god Kara I'm so so so sorry I left you a note and I was 99.999% positive that you would get it I left it in your laptop and your always on your laptop so I figured that you would get the note when you first got back home from doing whatever it was that Cat had you doing and I didn't stop to think that the first thing that you would do when you got home would be to look for me and I'm so so so so sorry.  Lena says in a single breath. Kara hasn't moved so she is still on the stairs.

Kara doesn't say anything she just runs to Lena and engulfs her in a hug. Her run was so fast that she nearly knocked Lena down to the floor and her hug was so tight that Lena just about stopped breathing.

Love, I'm okay but your hugging me to tight. And as much as I have missed you I wouldn't want you to squish your children.  Alex and Sam look at her wide eyed

I'm sorry Princess I'm just so happy that you're ok. I missed you too. Kara says pulling out of the hug and starting to cry

Alex and Sam look like they are about to jump off of the couch with excitement and Lena has the biggest smile on her face.

Lena nods her head.  Yeah it worked. We're going to be parents.

Kara's hand flies over her mouth. You're pregnant?  Like for real pregnant?

Yes I think that we have established that.  Lena chuckles

Wait but you said children as in more than one?

If I'm not mistaken that is what the definition of children means.

Holy crap we're going to be parents. Come on sit down. How are you feeling? Are you tired? Nauseous? Hungry?  Before Kara can continue with her questioning Lena cuts her off

Take a deep breath ok? While I appreciate your concern I'm fine. And you're not and I mean NOT going to do this whatever this is for the next 8 months. Ok?

Wait you said the next 8 months but you do know that if you carry to term you're going to be pregnant for 10 months right not 9?

The doctor that I went to on the island said about 8 weeks which I guess is right.
