Problems And A Diagnosis

(Author's POV)

It's been two weeks since Lena's decided to finally be their true self and use they/them pronouns rather than she/her and they are loving it. Their heart still flutters and they still get butterflies every time they hear their family using they/them pronouns concerning them even when they aren't around. Sam, Alex, and Ruby went home three days after said conversation. Lena has been doing significantly better with their mental state of mind. They're never going to admit that they were right but they feel better every time they talk to one of them about how they are feeling. They have had a few cravings to cut but every time they do they go to Alex, Kara, or Sam and they help them. They told J'onn about the pregnancy after a week and he was so excited to be space-grandpa to two more children. Eliza was flying out today because the DEO had wanted her help with advancing some of their medical equipment so rather than telling her over the phone the girls and Lena have decided to surprise her with the news once she gets to National City. They already told Eliza about Lenas' new pronouns and Eliza was as supportive as ever and uses the correct pronouns.

(Lena's POV)

I wake up at around 7:15 with a headache, still not quite used to powers all the noises overwhelm me easily. I rush to the bathroom just in time to throw up what I had for dinner, this had been a daily occurrence for the past two weeks. I eat something and then a few hours later I usually end up throwing it up. We have found a few foods that don't make me throw up which is good but I feel like I'm losing weight when I should be gaining. I should have Alex check it out when we get to the DEO later. It is about 7:30 when i feel there is nothing left to throw up and since Kara is still asleep I decide to go start getting ready. We have to head to the airport soon because Elizas plane lands at 9 so we need to leave around 8. I finish getting ready and go to wake Kara up.

(Kara's POV)

Kara, Babe.

I hear someone calling my name and I groan.

Kara.

Someone calls my name again. I roll over and pull the sheets above my head.

Kara wake up. I hear Lena say in a stern voice.

I groan, roll over, and open my eyes to stare at my wife. (a/n Lena is ok with Kara calling them her wife)

Whaaat?      I say confused as I see they are already dressed for the day

Come on Kar get up. It's 7:38 and unless you want Eliza waiting for us at the airport we gotta leave soon.

'Liza?     I ask still half asleep.

Yes Kar Eliza. It's Friday, her plane lands in about an hour and a half. Did you forget she was flying out today?

No I'm up.    I say sitting up and getting out of bed.

Ok hurry and get dressed. Do you want me to make you "First Breakfast" ™or are you ok waiting until we have breakfast with Alex, Sam, and Ruby after we get Eliza from the airport?

I can wait.   I say getting some clothes out of the closet to wear for today.
