Morning Sickness And Telling Ruby

The morning of Ruby's soccer game aka Thursday

(Lena's POV)
It's 3:52am and I wake up feeling nauseous I hop out of bed and run to the bathroom. I just barely make it to the toilet before I start to throw up. Soon after I start throwing up I feel a hand on my back and another holding my hair back it's Kara. I feel her bend down behind me so that she is sitting on the floor but not before I feel her pull my hair back into a messy bun to keep it out of my face. I don't know how long we were on the floor me throwing up and Kara rubbing circles on my back. All I know is that when I was finished I was extremely exhausted and I collapsed back into Kara's chest I didn't want to move and I think Kara knew that because we just sat there for some time until she started talking

Princess do you wanna get up and go back to bed. She asks looking down at me sadly smoothing my hair back although it was in a bun

I don't say anything I just nod signaling that I don't want to move

I'm sure that it's more comfortable than the floor. She tries again

No, I'm to tired and my head hurts. And the floor is cold I like it. It was true the floor was cold and because I was sweating the coolness felt good against my burning skin and it being summer didn't help at all although I'm pretty sure that the floor has always been this temperature.

Kara realizes that I'm not going to move on my own so she picks me up bridal style and carries me back to the bed. Once we get there she lays me on the bed and strips me down to my underwear and sports bra. She turns on the air conditioning because we have a system that's set up so that each room has its own control panel so that if the air is on in one room it doesn't have to be on in the rest of the house. She goes back to the bathroom and I hear the toilet flush then she comes and lays down next to me but not touching me, she knows that if I want contact I will initiate it. Soon after I fall asleep.

( Kara's POV)
I wake up suddenly feeling that Lena is not in bed anymore I look beside me to the alarm clock and see that it's 3:52am then I hear what sounds like vomiting coming from the bathroom. I get up and go to the bathroom finding Lena hunched over the toilet on her knees. I go up behind her and use one hand to rub circles on her back and the other hand to hold back her hair. I then put her hair in a messy bun with an elastic that was on my wrist and bend down behind her so that I'm almost sitting on the floor we sit there for about two hours her vomiting me rubbing circles on her back. When she was finished I was leaned against the wall and she collapsed into me. I know that she's tired so we just sit there and I don't bother to get up. We sit there for about 30 minutes and then I try to get her to go back to the bed.

Princess do you want to get up and go back to bed. I say looking down at her sadly smoothing the little pieces of hair that didn't make it into the bun.

She doesn't say anything she just nods. I know that she doesn't want to move.

I'm sure that it's more comfortable than the floor. I try again

No, I'm to tired and my head hurts. And the floor is cold I like it. I can feel that she's sweating but I don't want her to stay on the floor and I know that she won't move on her own so I pick her up bridal style and carry her back to the bedroom. When we get there I lay her down on the bed and strip her of her pajama shirt and shorts. I go to turn on the air conditioning to our room and to the bathroom to flush the toilet. When I am done with those tasks I go to lay down in the bed close to Lena but not close enough that I'm touching her if she wants contact she will initiate it but I know that she's hot so I let her make the decision for herself.
I look at the clock and my time estimates were right it's 6:35. I hear Lena's heartbeat start to slow down and I know that she's asleep I look at the clock once more and it's 6:45. I turn off both alarm clocks and the ones on her phone so that she can sleep as long as she likes. I take mine off the charger and head downstairs because last night Sam, Alex, Lena, and I said that we would meet downstairs at 7 to prepare for Ruby's suprise since her gifts would be here at 8 and we wanted to make her breakfast for her game this evening. I'm glad Sam can cook because if it were just me and Alex I'd probably burn down the kitchen and since Lena is sleeping Sam's the only other chef. I don't bother to get dressed so I'm still in my pajamas and apparently Sam and Alex felt the same way because about 30 minutes after I got downstairs Sam and Alex emerged from the stairs still in their pajamas too.
