Hi people!

So apparently this is originally a Jedward fanfiction I wrote on twitter under another name, and I have decided to upload them all onto my one and only wattpad account which is kind of anonymous, because I want to share my stories with more people - they are not exactly fanfictions in a sense, as the only strings that attach to the fandom are only the appearances of the characters, resembling John and Edward Grimes.

If you come here through twitter though, you probably know who I am ;) But for now I don't really feel like revealing my identity, as I have posted a story (in Chinese, just in case you're wondering, it's probably my one and only story in a language that's not English) based on my very own personal story, and it'd be weird if, just if, the person involved in the story found out...

You can call me C (well well it's kind of stupid as the person will probably know just having this single letter provided but it makes me less nervous, so), or Nightfalls if you like, nice to meet you :)

I hope you guys will like my stories!

Oh and by the way, in my fanfics (Yn) means "your name", so you can put yourself or whatever girl you prefer as the character!

"Really? You are not interested in Alex?" my friend Anna asked me.

I shook my head.
"(Yn), you're really strange," my other friend Juliet said, "It seems like you don't really like boys."
I smiled, "It's not that I don't like boys; I just haven't met the right one,"
My friends and I were walking in the market, and today it was crowded with people. We were talking about boys, and this guy called Alex was a family friend of mine. Anna and Juliet found him really charming, and Alex actually liked me, but the problem was that I did not like him the way he did towards me. He was nice and was a gentleman, but I did not feel sparks when I was with him.
"I wonder when you will meet the right one," Anna said, "If I were you I'll just choose Alex; he's so far the best."
"Maybe you can pair me and Alex up," Juliet giggled.
"Juliet!" Anna protested, "(Yn), don't listen to her! Pair me up with him!"
I laughed, and just smiled and watched them argue playfully.
The market was getting more and more crowded, with people rushing past us like busy bees. We were planning to visit this boutique, and the journey was taking longer than usual as we almost could not walk through the crowd.
I tugged at Anna, who was the closest to me, and said, "Should we take the shortcut? The sun will have set by the time we reach the shop!"
Anna knitted her eyebrows together, "But that shortcut always scares me!"
"Yes, it's so dark and dangerous!" Juliet added.
"But there are so many people today, and it is still very early; I doubt anything bad will happen! We can scream if something is wrong; we will be safe," I said.
Anna sighed. Juliet thought for a while and nodded, "I guess you have a point, at least it will be better for us to finish our business there early; I don't really want to walk home in the dark,"
Anna did not say anything, so that meant she was alright with the plan.
We made a turn and headed towards the shortcut. It was not exactly an alleyway, it was not that narrow, but it was certainly not as wide as the main road. It was a deserted pathway and there were climbers all over the walls as there was barely sunshine shining through the path. People barely walked through this path because it was dark and scary, just like what Anna and Juliet had said. Sometimes crimes took place here in the dark, but I was pretty sure it was going to be alright to walk through this shortcut now.
We reached the entrance of the shortcut. As it was noon, the sun was so bright, hanging right above our heads; it made the shortcut slightly brighter than usual. I felt Juliet relaxed.
"It isn't that scary today," Juliet stated, "Anna, relax!"
Anna was all tensed up, and I patted her arm. "It's alright," I told her. We linked arms and stepped into the shadows of the climbers.
When we were halfway through the path, a group of big and sturdy men dressed in ragged clothes came in through the opposite side, dragging some horses with them. As I was walking in the middle of the three, I tightened my arms around both of theirs to tell them it was going to be okay. Anna slowed down, but I kept going. There was no point in turning around now, as we were too far away from where we came from and the men would certainly outrun us with our long dresses slowing us down. And I was sure someone would help us if we screamed.
So we kept going, avoiding eye contact with the scary looking men and I straightened my posture to make myself look more confident.
When we were about to reach the men, I caught them all looking at us. Suddenly, one of them said, "Hey beautifuls,"
We ignored them and I sped up, dragging the girls along. One man reached out his arm and placed it against the wall, blocking our way. I looked around, panic started to rise in my chest as I could see no one around, and I started to doubt if screaming would actually help. I regretted getting us in such trouble now.
"Why is the rush?" the man with his hand against the floor asked in a husky low voice.
I pulled the girls with me and turned around, but the men surrounded us in a semi-circle, forcing us to stand against the wall. The leaves of the climbers tickled the back of my neck and I felt very uncomfortable.
"You haven't answered us, and you want to go?" one man said. I saw a scar on his left cheek, and it was like the scar was symbolizing danger.
"What do you want?" I tried to sound confident and brave, but my voice broke involuntarily.
"You," the man with the arm blocking our way grinned slyly, and the men started to close in on us.
We screamed, but we still could not see anyone beside these men. A strong and nasty smell reached my nose, and I realized it was from the gang in front of us.
One of the men stepped closer to me and was about to touch my face, when suddenly a figure landed right in front of us, making the gang backed a few paces away.
"Oh no it's him!" one of the men shouted. They all took out their weapons from their belts, and the figure in front of us took out two swords from the cases secured on his back. The figure was wearing a grey and white outfit, with red and brown details all over, and it had a hood on. I could tell that it was probably a male although his back was facing us. And he was certainly an assassin by looking at his outfit.
The assassin shouted, and swung his swords towards the gang. They dodged his attack, and they began to fight. The three of us crouched down, shielding our heads, shaking like mad. I peeked from under my arms for ways to escape. I looked to the right and saw our chance. I pushed Juliet who was on my right and she looked up and slipped away. I looked back to see Anna trembling, not daring to look up, so I tugged on her arm and made her run after Juliet.
Then I half stood up and ran for my life, but a man backed towards me and I quickly dodged his stumbling body, leaving me no way to escape. I looked up to see Anna and Juliet clutching each other's arms, looking at me with wide eyes, full of shock and fright. I gestured to them to run away without me, mouthing "I'll be alright" to them.
I crouched against the wall, shielding my head and tried to look for a way to escape, but there was still none. I looked at the men, and realized most of them were down now, blood was everywhere, and the man who just saved us in time was fighting the remaining ones with such skills that his movements were just graceful. And what I found fascinating was that his light colored outfit was still very clean, without a trace of blood.
Finally only one man was standing, and I saw a gap between the horses which I could use as my path to escape from the scene. I half ran towards the gap when the last man ran past me and got onto a horse. I looked up and realized the man was about to run over me!
I was so terrified that I screamed and stumbled backwards, landing on my back. I tried to stand up and ran, but then I twisted my ankle.
I fell to the stone pavement, and closed my eyes, ready to embrace death. But suddenly I was swept off the ground, and for a moment I felt air swooshing past me. I opened my eyes to see that I was in the arms of the assassin, and the remaining man from the gang had got away. I was sandwiched between the guy holding me and the wall.
I looked up at the man and I could not see his face. His face was well protected with his hood. I could only made out his plump lips as it was not entirely hidden by the shadow of the hood.
I opened my mouth and tried to speak, but no words came out. I was stunned.
"Are you okay?" the man said in a low and gentle voice, and I found it very alluring.
"I - I guess so," I stuttered.
He set me down on my feet, but once his support was gone, I stumbled forward as I had twisted my left ankle. I could not even stand properly; it was in agony.
"Ouch!" I yelped and steadied myself by putting a hand against the wall, and the man reached out his arms to help me.
"You have twisted your ankle, haven't you?" the man asked.
I nodded, and gulped. My eyes were a bit wet from the pain.
He picked up his swords off the floor and slid them back into their cases, and came towards me again.
"I'll bring you home," he said, and before I could respond, I was off my feet again. He cradled me against his chest and started to walk towards the end of the path.
I told him where I lived as I trusted him; he must not be a bad guy, as he just saved us and killed the men who were obviously the villains. During the journey, I did not know why, but my heart kept pounding vigorously and butterflies flapped around my stomach.
"Thank you," I told him when he set me down on my porch.
"My pleasure," he replied, and I could see he was smiling underneath his hood.
I looked at him as he half ran away, and I waited until he rounded the corner before knocking on the door. The door opened and Anna and Juliet were standing there, and they seemed well happy when they saw me.
They attacked me with a hug, and I yelped in pain as they made me stumble and hurt my ankle. They helped me get inside, and only the maids were at home. My father was at work and my mother had gone out.
They sat me down on the couch, and kept apologizing for leaving me behind. I told them it was okay, as I really did not mind. I also apologized for getting them into trouble. And then I told them about the assassin, and afterwards I did not really know what we had been talking about, as I was absorbed with my thoughts of the man who just saved me and I barely knew.
